Hello geeks! You'll have to excuse me this week, I'm unfortunately working through a lot of the shows as I need to raise the cash for university. I'm hoping to be around on Thursday if it's any consolidation. A shame really because I'm very much in love with the show and site at the moment!

I've been away from the show and from Your Views for far too long. I'll be there today, but probably not from the beginning. I want to watch Friends first, but unless we have dinner right after that, I'll be here at 5. See you then :)

Good afternoon lovely peeps. I'm here-ish. Welcome back Nikki. Did you all have a good time? I know how enamoured you are of camping....

I was thinking about watching the musical again today actually, so there's nothing to be ashamed of. Third time only though.

Hahaha Matt in north Wales has apparently watched The Musical 5 times too, so you're OK.

I haven't watched it online yet as Sat night didn't come online and yesterday was just uploading pictures and catching up with the millions of threads on here.

Will be watching it tonight though! I keep getting the song Pinot Grigio in my head.

I can't get that song out of my head either, particularly if I'm standing in front of Pinot in the shop. Also can't stop thinking of the RADIO one!

Camping was camping :confused: We had great weather which made things a bit nicer, I just can't cope with the insects :(

I don't feel too bad knowing that someone else has watched it lots too.

They played the Pitbull song in the toilet block every night when I was brushing my teeth, on the first night I turned to the German woman next to me and said "Beccy wants him" she looked at me as if I was mad. I missed the show lots.

I can't count the amount of times I've watched the musical online. I sort of got so giddy at the ending the first time I saw it that I accidentally hit myself in the face. :oops:

Haha. Almost picked up a bottle of Pinot G in Sainsbury's the other day to sing to it. Don't think it would have gone down too well. 'Clear up on aisle 6! Mad lady singing at a bottle of wine!'

      I suspect they’re gonna tie the announcement into something, or they’ve changed plans. I know we’ve said it as a joke but I wonder if Aled was planning on giving it to someone like Danny Beard, but he’s decided against that after the last few weeks. Seems clear to me, though, that if Jordan hadn’t left, then Katie would’ve taken Dean and Vicky’s slot and Matt and Mollie would’ve stayed on weekends, which probably explains why they haven’t picked a replacement yet. If it was going to be the obvious choice, I.e. James Cusack, surely they would’ve announced it by now..?

      Yep think they mentioned that this is their penultimate weekend of shows but then they will also be on air during Big Weekend and they mentioned they'll be doing 'Party Anthems' on stage during Big Weekend which sounds intriguing. Will miss Matt & Mollie on weekends - they in particular have made that Friday afternoon slot their own - but they'll be great on weekdays. Do wonder if 'Summer on Radio 1' is just a placeholder name until they decide on who will cover the interim. While it's obviously not the case it does feel like they've forgotten there's that weekend afternoon slot to fill given no permenant presenter has been announced for it yet.

      I think more likely it'll just be a temp presenter for weekends 1-4 to give Matt & Mollie time off, plus time to plan and pilot the new show.

      Yeah I don’t think they’ll be anything that drastic - maybe a week or 2 of cover on early breakfast etc, but maybe just having that weekend afternoon slot covered over the summer means they can put someone on from September who maybe isn’t available until then?

      I wouldn't be surprised if they do this around June time: 05.00 Ore Olukoga 07.00 Greg James 10.30 RMC 14.00 VKJ  That'll probably happen (for my guess) from the 17th June.       The Summer on Radio 1 thing makes me wonder whether they might be doing something similar to last year again where they have a temporary schedule over the summer before introducing changes in September - maybe the new host won’t start until after the summer?
