Yeah guess you're right but at the same time I'm rubbish with my phone and stuff. I know it'll go missing. I just don't want to be shoving everything out of the tent again in searching for it. I wasn't suggesting double sleeping bag or anything!

Yes computers are very difficult to delete everything what with system restores and stuff. I had to ask Timsk for help when selling my laptop because they can get all sorts of details from it even when you delete stuff and "clean" it.

But your cousin, Scott, isn't a computer hacker. So I assume she won't be restoring everything. Sounds more like with your wage packet you could afford to get her a cheap laptop

Just do a proper format Scott. I'll trust you know what this is...

They did this on Newsbeat a few months back, Dan Whitworth had to destory a computer, the only way to actually kill it was to drill though the hard drive bit.

Well if its the laptop, I would take a bet and tell him to drill though ... F1 F7 F12, Del, Enter, q t p a g l n c, both ctrls and maybe a few more for luck. That should destory something...

Remember to unplug it and take out the battery first!
