On her show today Edith was asking if the classic postcard is over.

Do you still send postcards?

On my last hols I sent my boyf a lovely one with a kitten with a beret on (no prizes for guessing where i went!)

Edith also wants people to send her postcards at Radio 1.

Hmmm. Well, I'm not so sure she'd want cards from Scotland (where she originally comes from), so I won't bother.

If I was abroad, then, yeah, I probably still would send postcards. I still send actual letters. I quite like to go to a postbox and put an actual letter in it. Coming from the non-computer generation, I like to be old-fashioned sometimes. :-) Fully accepting the modern stuff, such as twitter, into my life is still a problem.

I have tons of postcards that I make people send me when they go away. Even if it's just to York or somewhere. Postcards are ace.

I probably keep the Royal Mail going with the amount of post I send home.

yeah i heard the postcard bit of the show also, i liked the bit when Edith was on about postcards from Scotland & she said most are of a bloke in a kilt & his pet haggis :giggle: a pet haggis HAHahah i have to see one of them !
