God, I can't believe people can't keep a joke running for more than an hour. You're no fun are you :(

On another note, I told Dynamoo I'd won My Chemical Romance tickets and she could go with me. I think she was close to crying when I told her it was an April Fool's. I reckon she'll kill me now.

Hahaha. Nice one.

I'm glad I was first to spot this. It was when Facebook offered to send someone round to personally poke people that I realised something was up, then spent some time searching news sites for the obviously fake articles they'd put up.

Gotta love Google: http://www.google.com/tisp/install.html

Google's April Fools is great, had a giggle at that this morning. Out of the amount of people that visit, plenty will believe it.

How about Gmail Paper - http://mail.google.com/mail/help/paper/more.html

"Gypsy children are to be given £300,000-worth of laptop computers so that they don't miss school lessons while travelling." The scheme "was revealed last week at a little-publicised conference in Cornwall".

Oh wait, that's from last week's newspapers...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/04/01/nfool01.xml looking at the URL of that page, it's blatently obvious it's a prank. It still made me laugh though. They get in lots of political digs.

I'm suspicious about this story: http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=445876&in_page_id=1770&in_a_source=&ico=Homepage&icl=TabModule&icc=picbox&ct=5

Maybe it is true, but it just seems a little bit far-fetched to me.

The Daily Mail? It's like April Fool's Day every day in that newspaper.

I do like that Vernon's seriously saying Glastonbury has sold out, but every thing today he's said so seriously, I haven't a clue what's true or not!

http://news.sky.com/skynews/picture_gallery/popup_paper/0,,70141-1258554-3,00.html my friend, a physical Geographer with a particular interest in polar regions, was wondering whether it is actually possible for seal pups to drown. Sadly neither of us have sufficient knowledge to say for definite.

I like haggis, tis tasty. On a side not has anyone here been the victim of an Aprl Fools joke today or pulled a prank on anyone?

I liked this one:

OUTRAGED residents complained after a sign went up declaring trees would be axed and replaced by telephone masts - only to find out it was an early April Fool’s joke.

The fake planning notice was pinned to trees at Colmers Hill near Bridport in Dorset.

The forms, bearing the West Dorset District Council logo, announced plans to axe the famous trees and replace them with the masts.

They read: “Notice is hereby given that Orange Tele Communications is applying to West Dorset District Council for permission to carry out the following development: Felling of all trees and construction of communications mast.â€

But the deadline date for comments gave the game away as April 1, or All Fools Day.

The notices were signed by John Greenslade, the council’s development control manager, and prompted angry calls from locals.

Mr Greenslade said: “These notices are a hoax. There has been no planning application.

“We sometimes get this sort of thing around April 1 and we hope that this April fool has not caused local people too much concern.

“We believe that the notices put up near the site have been removed.â€

Dynamoo is refusing to speak to me I think, hahaha. I woke up for Fearne and Reggie to try and win tickets, so got there before any one realised it was April Fools and tried to tell my dad there was a fox in the garden. I just pointed at some grass. He spent ages looking, haha.

Scott Mills has been drafted in to present Radio 1's Chart Show on a regular basis from this Sunday, and will ditch his afternoon shows on Thursday and Fridays to make way for its current presenters JK and Joel.

The move sees one of Radio 1's hottest signings in 2003, leave the chart show, and move to two weekday afternoons.

Nihal is rumoured to takeover early breakfast. Radio 1 is expected to announce the changes to its schedule on Monday, and follows the success of changes to its evening schedule.
