I feel sorry for those who are deaf, most of the Signing programmes are on at absolutely god awful times of day for them, bit unfair on them, there should be some form of digi box which has signed programmes for them to enjoy aswell.

Every channel that broadcasts in the UK has to have a certain percentage of their broadcast hours accessable to the deaf, no matter what the output. It's an OFCOM ruling - pretty stupid in a music channels case, but that's why it happens

Sorry to bump this thread, but I'm trying to find out the name of one of the sign interpreters. He is often on 4Music, Kerrang and others, is bald, wears glasses and has a goatee (sounds like a game of Guess Who lol). If anyone could shed any light on this it would be extremely helpful.

i remember seeing sign language on cartoon network for ed edd & eddy at 1 in the morning a few years back, during school holidays. as if most kids were going to see that! do music channels still do this? haven't flicked over to them for some time now.

Don't know but I was watching some weird Richard Hammond kids show on CBBC on Sunday evening whilst channel surfing and there was a signing person on there.

I think they're funny when they are signing and trying to dance on Kerrang. But haven't watched it late to see if they're still on there recently.

I wonder what happens if its one of these crappy rap songs and the lyrics 'Phatt Ass' or something comes up.
