  1. Not mentioned on heat's website either - http://www.heatworld.com/Article.aspx?articleid=2272&title=The+stars+on+this+year's+Strictly+Come+Dancing+are...
  2. Quite good so far. Some old Moyles intro music used just then (although other people used it before him) and now a classic Soccer Am tune. Good stuff Scott!
  3. Napoleon Dynamite seemes to be one of her pet mentions as well
  4. Created by a newbie though, so be fair.
  5. If you want to talk about the show then there IS a clear section on where to discuss it. If you want topics about the show, then create them people WILL post in them. If you don't like the atmosphere then that is your problem. It is a different age group from this site which is clear, but generally if you make the effort and explain your points clearly then people will respect you for it, I tend to find. Yes there are a couple of idiots on there, but what forum doesnt have them. At the end of the day, don't get drawn in. it isn't real life and too many people loose sight of that.
  6. When has that ever happened on Moylesworld?
  7. People seem to be interchanging the word "fansite" instead of putting "message board"
  8. That was the UK chart show, or something similar - which was also very good. I used to love MTV select with Blackwood, glad its coming back in some form
  9. It's airing daily I think. Moyles is staying on the air though, as said earlier - doing Radio 1 in the morning then Xfactor at night, saying they would "be long days, but worth it"
  10. No, you are getting confused with "Lust". Not that I would know...ahem
  11. If there are going to be pictures of pretty girls on here, I think all us boys can! Goooooood' Mornin!
  12. Why not merge the page as a stub of Scott's
  13. Of course they morally shouldn't, but its like Quincy said, if there is a demand for it, like at a sold out event - and there is demand for it when you legitamitly can't go then it is acceptable because that's the economy we live in. If I was in this situation, I would offer it at the face value of the ticket and if someone was to offer me more then It would be sillly to turn it down - plus that's how an auction works if people are willing to pay that, that's there problem. A tout forces you to pay £40 over the price. A legitimate e-bay sale you are asking to buy it at that price. So, yes, in some cases that is morally wrong, but we shouldn't clamp down 100% on all ticket selling by unofficial methods as it would compramise the economy we live in. Plus, like I said before, impossible to police.
  14. We live in a free economy, so no it shouldn't. What if people genuinly want to offload tickets they can't use due to unforseen circumstances, hardly fair on them. In an ideal world, it would be banned, but there is no realistic way to enforce such a law.
  15. Every channel that broadcasts in the UK has to have a certain percentage of their broadcast hours accessable to the deaf, no matter what the output. It's an OFCOM ruling - pretty stupid in a music channels case, but that's why it happens
  16. December 1989 - so 17 years and counting. Even longer if you consider the Tracy Ullman shorts - 19 years this month
  17. Isn't Linda Barker from Bradford? Or so the local paper claims anyway. Percy Shaw is a good one. Didn't he get the idea after coming out of a pub in Queensbury - or so I'm told by my dad everytime we pass it. Bradford famous folk - erm...Garath Gates, Terrorvision, Kimberly Girls Aloud, Richard Whitley (when it suited him), the creator of Morrisons and the drummer out of Franz Ferdinand (apparently)
  18. Fair enough Staghead. I bow to your superior knowledge Although if that is the case Re: Evens, it shows IMO. It's a sloppy show for me.
  19. Yeah, I think all shows would have that as it's probably a neccesity of the station since ultimatly its all about the music. The only things that are set in stone are things like when they announce One Big Weekends, Competitons and interviews which obviously wouldn't work without it.
  20. No offence, but I imagine it to be a different ball game at radio 1. I think you are confusing scripted with planned. The team do plan what subjects they are going to talk about, but not that far in advance - Aled has stated before on CM.net that topics may not be decided until an hour before they go on air perhaps even less. Also, if I was being paid to talk professionally on air, I wouldn't fluff up my sentances either (although the team do actually fluff on occasion - which Chris ususally records and plays for days after) I would say that ultimatly Moyles show is planned in some respect (it would be foolish to suggest the Radio 1 breakfast show is otherwise), but is nowhere near "scripted".
  21. They should have, they were both started by newbies, which says a lot anyway. But if the topics bothered you so much, maybe you should have stepped in and put your 2p across...
  22. Well if people say something completly untrue you will get those kind of responses. There is a lot of unfair criticisms for both shows, but to suggest an entire 3 hours is "scripted" is completly rediculous. I'm not saying some elements aren't planned on moyles's show, but it's hardly scripted is it? Again Stevie, it's all very well saying this from the comfort of a Mills forum isn't it? I'm not saying you are wrong in this particular case (I couldn't comment on it anyway, didn't hear the show this morning), but if you really wanted to make a point about moyles fans, address it to somewhere where they can see it rather than from the safety of a mills board! I'm not having a go or anything, but it just seems kind of wierd.
  23. [roy walker mode]Well if you say so...[/roy walker mode]
