WOW. I got through on the phone last Friday and today I had one of my many "Dear Scott..." letters read out. It was in the first batch between 7and half past. (Scott Museum letter)

Last time I had one read out Beccy was off ill. Maybe that is the trick! I am so happy.

Cool. I have thought about Emailing in several times but I never have anything interesting enough to say :(

That's OK, neither do most of the people who email in and get read out :*

So Mr Mac you get read out when Beccy's not there... anyone else smelling a Beccy-led conspiracy here?

You know what I mean? I think Beccy would like me if she met me but I think she is hiding my emails from Scott. She needs to share him more!

I think Scott remembered you this week from being on last week. He probably tried to phone you but settled for PR4L reading out your email instead.

Ugh Sara Cox rambling has made me turn off early... going on about some hat and her face or some crap. Why do people find this funny again?

I loved your idea for the Scott Mills Museum!

I can just imagine it now... a waxwork that has sparkly white teeth and has been tangoed. Oh and not forgetting the load of cheese and pinot you'd have to have!!!! :D

Ha! You know it darling! I do think it would be great. And the mad thing is people would visit. I will get those teeth from him. I think I really am going to do this...I really do wonder sometimes about the things I spend time thinking about ;) x x x x

I used to send them daily at one point in my life. Sort of stopped now. Did get one email read out on Monday. Two minutes in on the podcast 'Scott cocks up his voice changer.' Feel rather proud.

OMASM. Radio presenters are like fruit. Matt is my kumquat and Scott is blatantly my orange.

Yep, listened to most of them today on the coach. Nearly laughed the whole time and got some strange looks from the others :D

I heard it!! Was quite funny, because I didn't remember that you said it. So I was listening to the podcast and the PR4L said "gives evils". I thought ,wow! Not only Annalie uses this!', until PR4L finished with "Annalie off of Poole". :hahaha:

Scott seemed very perky this morning on the phone to Moyles from Edinburgh. He was in the venue for his show rehearsing.

He told people who are coming to be prepared, because the place smells of branflakes.:confused:

      I suspect they’re gonna tie the announcement into something, or they’ve changed plans. I know we’ve said it as a joke but I wonder if Aled was planning on giving it to someone like Danny Beard, but he’s decided against that after the last few weeks. Seems clear to me, though, that if Jordan hadn’t left, then Katie would’ve taken Dean and Vicky’s slot and Matt and Mollie would’ve stayed on weekends, which probably explains why they haven’t picked a replacement yet. If it was going to be the obvious choice, I.e. James Cusack, surely they would’ve announced it by now..?

      Yep think they mentioned that this is their penultimate weekend of shows but then they will also be on air during Big Weekend and they mentioned they'll be doing 'Party Anthems' on stage during Big Weekend which sounds intriguing. Will miss Matt & Mollie on weekends - they in particular have made that Friday afternoon slot their own - but they'll be great on weekdays. Do wonder if 'Summer on Radio 1' is just a placeholder name until they decide on who will cover the interim. While it's obviously not the case it does feel like they've forgotten there's that weekend afternoon slot to fill given no permenant presenter has been announced for it yet.

      When Matt covered breakfast on 22nd April, he said their new show was starting in 10 weeks, so that’d be the 1st July.

      I think more likely it'll just be a temp presenter for weekends 1-4 to give Matt & Mollie time off, plus time to plan and pilot the new show.

      Yeah I don’t think they’ll be anything that drastic - maybe a week or 2 of cover on early breakfast etc, but maybe just having that weekend afternoon slot covered over the summer means they can put someone on from September who maybe isn’t available until then?

      I wouldn't be surprised if they do this around June time: 05.00 Ore Olukoga 07.00 Greg James 10.30 RMC 14.00 VKJ  That'll probably happen (for my guess) from the 17th June. And for weekends: 07:00 Sam & Danni 11:00 Gregor Davidson 15:00 Charlie Hedges Maybe Fridays aswell: 07:00 Greg James 11:00 Gregor Davidson 14:30 Jack Saunders

      The Summer on Radio 1 thing makes me wonder whether they might be doing something similar to last year again where they have a temporary schedule over the summer before introducing changes in September - maybe the new host won’t start until after the summer?

      There was talk on my Big Weekend group from the council about them waiting for Ticketmaster to send an email out. They said they've been waiting a week. Maybe they're waiting for train strike confirmation first.
