Oh really? They always say they're giving up radio but they never do.

Joel started following me on Twitter yesterday. Obviously wanted big weekend gossip ;)

Dare i say, i'm enjoying JK and Joel tonight.

Nice selection of music, a good guest in Carol Vorderman. Shame its commercial radio!

I still like something about JK and Joel. They aren't bad at what they do, and they were pretty good on Radio 1!

I think a couple of my favourite memories of them on R1 were when they covered Scott's show, I especially remember the Good Friday they did, with a whole show devoted to Wonder Years, back in 2006, and also when Joel did the show by himself, when Scott was ill. That was good show!

I gave them a listen on monday night and enjoyed what I heard of it. Although I think it was pre-recorded which was a shame.

Few cock-ups now and again which is nice too here. Ssure they'll get more work at Key anyway.

Jono - why does this sit in the 'Radio 1' forum? :P

The story for the breif return at the moment is:

Mcdonald & Mcguire (who did the show) have recently had there RAJAR and have lost the entire audience and its completly bombed out to nothing. Mcguire has therefore been let go and Mcdonald will be presenter a friday, saturday and sunday night show.

I don't think JK & Joel will be taking the 10pm-1am slot but it could happen at some point in the future.

my digital radio cannot get key 103 because i don't want to contaminate it with crap dj's & music so i won't be listening :)

Think it could be more to do it with being a local station not in your area.

could be,

maybe its due to me only programing in radio-1, 6-music & classic fm into it, it does have 25 program slots though, but you know what they say "quality over quantity" ;)

JK & Joal just not my bag, never liked them dunno why really.

anyway hope the fans liked the show :)

But you listen to Edith Bowman. :confused:

Really enjoyed there interview with Anne Robinson last night....Great interview.

It was pre-rec'd (the interview) but was still good, still not sure if the show is Pre-recorded...I'd imagine it is.
