Oh it's Crack The Shutters. I thought he said Shut The Crackers. I was Googling crackers and found out it was some racial term for white people. Haha. I didn't think that was very sweet of Snow Patrol.

Oh I know this new Snow Partol song, there's a remix of it that's much better, the original is a bit too dull.

Get that on Floor Fillers then ;)

It's good to see Leona is still milking that cover of 'Run' on X Factor. She's releasing that now isn't she?

Poor Il Divo. They were in the newspapers saying how they never get recognised in the streets despite being massive.

"It's gonna be all over Radio 1" - Now there's a surprise!

I think they should get Andy May to do a rant every day. Just to make up for the lack of Chappers. It's the job of the sports present to do so. "Today Andy May rants about the tube!"

Haven't The View been touring recently? Surely they'd have released something new by now.

She reminds me of "new num-num-num-ber" off of Flirt Divert. I love simple sounding people like that.

James Morrison plays sports now? He's a talented so and so.

Let's hope Anna Lee is a bit better at Oh, What's Occurring than what she was at Greg's Newsreader Idol when he covered for Scott. She's very competitive. Watch out Beccy.

Good show so far. I haven't missed Chappers as much as I normally do. Beccy must be doing a good job.

Is Anna the one who pronounces 'year' strangely? If so, I reckon they should try to get her to say it as much as possible.

est Midlands radio station Galaxy was forced off air today after a man broke into the studio and started swearing on air.

Police arrested the intruder who forced entry into the Global Radio-owned Galaxy 102.2 studios in Birmingham in the early hours of this morning.

There was "lots of swearing by someone who claimed to have broken into the studio" according to a listener posting on the Digital Spy website.

"Although he soon ran out of things to say and resorted to 'I'm still fucking here' after a while," the listener added.

A spokesman for the station said: "In the early hours of this morning ... there was an incident at the radio studios of Galaxy 102.2 in Birmingham.

"A man forced his way into the station but was arrested by the police at the scene."

The station's output was temporarily taken off air, replaced by programming from its sister station, Galaxy Yorkshire.

Meh, Galaxy have probably lined him up for a full time job if he does it for free :D

    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
    • I remember hearing Amy first on Scotts show and she was great on that, the daft quiz questions always made me smile. It's really nice to see the hard work has paid off for them all.
    • Actually the worst tends to be those who comment on Radio Today news stories. People who haven’t listened to younger oriented radio stations in years who say things like “who?” about any job going to any presenter aged younger than 50.
