I wanted to go to bed last night but my housemate was in here talking till nearly 2am despite me telling him many times that I wanted to go to bed. Then I didn't get to sleep till about 3. So I don't really feel that rested. This is being one hell of a week

I have two majors, French and history, but today I was told that my French class is too small and there are two oportunities: 1) it'll be closed down or 2) we're going to have fewer lessons, but it seems the "bosses" would prefer to just close it down. Now our school will try to let it go on with fewer lessons, but nothing is certain yet, and it really sucks 'cause I like French a lot

I mean, obviously we are a little class - only 3 students - but couldn't they have said all this two months ago? It'll be hard to change major now, because the others have already done so much. I hope it all works out, but I don't know

Sigrid, I remember when I was doing my A Level in German there were only 3 of us and the other two were German. So in the end we didn't have any lessons (well, we had the occasional one every other week during lunch but that doesn't count) and we were just supposed to turn up for our exams. In the end my German friend ended up getting a B :shock:

What sucks is that last night I had to stay up until 3.30 doing work, the night before I slept for 4 hours and I don't even remember what it was the night before that. I feel like a zombie and I'm off the bed.

I've just tried to send off for my new passport today. I had the photos done professionally, yet was told they won't be accepted as my head is tilted to the right, and you can only see one earring, which means my head wasn't straight. I need to get them done all over again this morning.

I know how you feel Paula, I stayed in the library till it shut last night, off to campus soon to do more work on this stupid presentation and I've got an essay due in Tuesday that I really really need to get on with, but just don't have the time. I couldn't even work out what day it was yesterday and walking home, I kept seeing cars that weren't even there because I was so tired. Now I'm trying to cram in a bit of essay time while eating breakfast before I have to meet the presentation group at 1 and I couldn't sleep last night because I was panicking about my dissertation.

Someone on Facebook chat said I was a paedo for dating someone of 17. They said they'd report me. It was clear they'd been hacked, but it was obviously someone I knew who'd done it. Freaked me out a bit, I thought we'd all moved on from being malicious and pathetic amongst people I know.

Your girlfriend is over 16 and you're only a couple of years older so they just need to grow up.

I've got to present the dreaded presentation today. It'll be good once it's over but I'm scared I'll mess it up. Stayed up really late last night doing the essay that's due in tomorrow and I really need some time off, need to buy food and sleep. Oh and the bloody boiler's broken again, it won't stay on for more than 5 minutes, so no hot water or central heating for us.

I read somewhere, that the "rules" concerning age and stuff are following:

((Your age)/2)+7=OK

If the girl is younger than the result then that means the age gap is too big. But in your case:

(20/2)+7=17 so I guess that's okay

I woke up at 7am and my bed was wet.

I was very confused. My top half was wet and bottom half was dry, so that ruled out wetting myself. Then I figured it must have been the hot water bottle. I guess I need a new one. Gutted. I went back to sleep for a bit but it wasn't very comfortable and the duvet isn't entirely dry yet. Not a great start to the day.

Australian Formula One driver Mark Webber has sustained multiple fractures to his arms and legs after being hit by a car in Tasmania.

Webber was competing in his multi-sport challenge event on Tasmania's east coast when the accident occurred.

It is understood Webber was on the road bike leg of the challenge when he was hit by the vehicle on Fortescue Bay Road on the Tasman Peninsula.

The Tasmanian Ambulance Service confirmed Webber has multiple fractures in his arms and legs.

He has been airlifted to hospital in Hobart and is in a stable condition.

The Mark Webber challenge is an annual multi-sport event held in Tasmania raising funds for charity.

Webber was airlifted to hospital where a broken right leg is his only serious injury. He has since undergone an operation where surgeons inserted a pin to the broken bone and will now begin recovery.

Webber is expected to stay in hospital for another two to three day before being discharged. Providing there are no complications he should be fit again in time for the start of the season in March, but will likely miss out on the majority of winter testing.

Hangover..... went to a house party last night. Drank waaay too much. Our boiler still hasn't been fixed and the ambient temperature is basically whatever it is outside. So in a wonderful display of drunk logic, I went home with this guy who lived nearby the party and slept on his living room floor along with another very drunk guy. It didn't exactly help the fact that everyone reckons there's something going on between me and the guy I went home with.

Didn't sleep much, horrible hangover kicked in, spent about half an hour curled up on the bathroom floor trying not to throw up. Left at about 11 and walked home. The cold air helped somewhat but I got back here to find that my keyring thermometer made the temperature 3 degrees in my room. Brilliant. I got some sleep and feel a little better and the boiler actually worked for about an hour but it's died again now.

The last four days have been a complete write-off, haven't done anything useful, and the work is piling up.
