I think sometimes he does. He has been doing it for years but he probably does.

i think you will always have nerves talking to that amount of people. but then it's still easier than doing the show infront of a crowd that is even harder.

I think the phone calls would be the most nerve-wracking bit for me - I'm not too keen on telephones.

Although I've been a teacher for quite a while, I still get reeeeeaaaaalllly nervous on the first day of term, when I have to meet my new students. Sweaty palms, nausea etc. After that it's fine tho'

Having done radio myself in Canada for some years, after time you begin to think you're talking to only one person, you tend to forget the large audience of people listening because you can't actually see them.

I work for a radio station and one of the board operators let me make an announcement on air. I asked him if I could, I mean I wanted to. But I was SO NERVOUS!! I kept thinking about the whole city listening. It properly freaked me out.
