I occasionally download Scott's MP3 podcast to see what they've included, and what they've not included. But being involved with our clips, and always listening, I don't need to. I can't stand Moyles' MP3 podcast. I don't think it's a true representation of his show. Mostly full of guests, and it sounds too edited and cut down for my liking. It's often the banter like Scott has on his podcast that amuses me, and that doesn't get included.

I don't have an MP4 player, but I do get the Scott Mills and Annie Mac MP4 podcasts.

Edited: Updated my Media Player Classic now, so I can watch all the vodcasts now. :) Saw the elusive 'FIA' thing. Scott's and Annie Mac's vodcasts are the only ones I watch really. Used to subscribe to a few different Radio 1 podcasts, but I got rid of the program I used to subscribed to them for some reason.

I have The Chris Moyles podcast, and the Scott Mills one (although i dont listen much as i normally hear all the show). I have all the vodcasts too. Ooh and the unsigned artist one aswell.

And as if that wasnt cool enough, ive got a higher geography podcast. Just because im a geek.

Scott Mills and Moyles, pretty much whenever a new one comes up. I love both those shows. Occassionally I download the documentary podcast. I've downloaded it only twice, so very rarely

I love Annie's video podcast but sometimes it wont download which ticks me off.

  • 2 weeks later...

We don't really save them here as we produce our own recordings from the show. Not sure where you'd really find them apart from continuing the save them to your computer each day they're available. Great answer, I know...

Haha unfortunatly academics arn't nearly as fun as Mills fans so I don't know if I will finish with those words but I might put them in the acknowledgements section or something!!

All Mills fans should sign off that way or some sort of variation of it anyway!

So take it easy and keep it Mills!!!!

    • https://youtu.be/A_Cycjg5_9A?si=NiLTFeiTNWBExFoR   As barmy as Sam Ryder has now gone, as shown in this video. I'd still rather it than that bland Olly Alexander record.
    • I like Scott, and I listen to Rylan's show every week... they do sound great together on Eurovision etc but.. as for a daily show together, I don't think it would work. Rylan would probably have to reign it in a bit which would lose his appeal, otherwise it may become too chaotic, in my opinion. That Saturday slot is perfect for Rylan, his rapport with Sally Traffic and Lottie is great. I suppose it comes down to cost as well and if he would want a daily show?   Radio 2 are clearly happy with Scott's show, and considering he's just won Best Entertainment Show at the ARIA's, I can't see them changing much.
    • A win for Scott which is fantastic after the last few years he's been through!
    • Am I outnumbered for not wanting to work in radio? It feels like there's a lot of geeks that want a job in the industry here.
    • Thought Sam and Danni were robbed of an award.
    • OJ Borg is in for Trevor Nelson on the Rhythm Nation tonight (with Phill Williams on overnight). He's also in for Michael Ball for the next two Sundays (12th and 19th May). Ros Atkins (BBC's Analysis editior) is in for Jeremy Vine on Thursday. Another new name to Radio 2 is Oliver Hides from BBC Radio Wales. He sat in for Owain Wynn Evans yesterday and he's in again this Thursday (9th May) and Bank Holiday Monday (27th) Spoony in for Scott Mills from Tuesday 28th till Friday 31st May.
    • Thought they would make it easier to get to this event. There's been no communication from the council or organisers about travel, even though there's talk of train strikes. Smaller councils have done a better job.
    • They do sound good together, but I'm not sure Rylan will want the extra commitments.
    • I have accepted Chris is unlikely to join Scott's show, and that Chappers has moved on, but I still think he could do with a co-host. The most logical solution, I think, is Rylan. He appears more often on his show than not, and they are great together. Radio 2 could lose Rylan's Saturday show and extend his reach by appearing during the week. I think they'd be great!
    • Tattoo took a while to grow on me. I couldn't see the fuss until weeks after. We have a split household here where the war on Gaza is overshadowing an enjoyment. I'm hoping for a protest of some sort.
    • I've heard that the staging is very impressive.  That and him being "known" might prevent an embarrassing result.  I'm a terrible judge of Eurovision though as Tattoo is still so very meh to me.
    • Feels like after the success of Sam Ryder we are going back to our old ways. Olly Alexander's song is pretty weak. Anyone fancy our chances this year?
    • The more time goes on the more you think if they'd actually put some thought into it it should've been Vick & Katie from the start. A proven pairing and Katie ended up on the show anyway - whereas Katie's even mentioned she was only asked to join after the Jamie announcement And even by Going Home standards on time off, it's quite funny that a few months in we still haven't had a full week of the supposed line-up - and that's with a 4-day week.
