Yes the internet is lacking a fan site for Chris Moyles which actually writes reviews, and bothers to comment on the show each week. You want one where there isn't some sort of exclusive club to pick on new people and don't make up excuses for not listening each day.

I am sure some one on here can help you

they knock the new people, when they're the only ones bringing in the discussion. most of the regulars havent heard the show in ages. it's the site just for them.

well as a fan i want to be somewhere i can post without being critcisied for petty things like spelling or being new.

you could then argue reviews are pointless if you've got the downloads on the forum. people will want to know what happened last week, they can't listen again then.

at least here people bother to listen to the show and talk about it, the only popular topics are ones where you don't have to talk about the show from that day, as most haven't listened. there's a clear place to talk about it all.

If you want to talk about the show then there IS a clear section on where to discuss it. If you want topics about the show, then create them people WILL post in them. If you don't like the atmosphere then that is your problem. It is a different age group from this site which is clear, but generally if you make the effort and explain your points clearly then people will respect you for it, I tend to find. Yes there are a couple of idiots on there, but what forum doesnt have them. At the end of the day, don't get drawn in. it isn't real life and too many people loose sight of that.

fair deal. it's clearer the general now, but i remember last time visiting and topics were just all over the place. like now there's an ebay topic in the moyles section.

1. I'm guessing this "exclusive club" you speak of are the regulars, who don't "pick on" new people. Every time the site gets a mention on the show, the board gets flooded with people who have no idea of the forum rules and end up creating countless duplicate threads.

2. "Excuses" for not listening each day? Perhaps some people have jobs to go to where they are unable to listen to the show, and, if possible use the listen again feature.

    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
    • I remember hearing Amy first on Scotts show and she was great on that, the daft quiz questions always made me smile. It's really nice to see the hard work has paid off for them all.
    • Actually the worst tends to be those who comment on Radio Today news stories. People who haven’t listened to younger oriented radio stations in years who say things like “who?” about any job going to any presenter aged younger than 50.
