Moyles has been asked by actual Andrew Lloyd Webber to star as King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar !!

He has been in talks for the past two months, and ... now .... it is officially ON !!

It will be staged at the O2 Arena in London's Docklands in September before it is taken on a nationwide tour to mark its 40th anniversary.

Should be an interesting role for the Moyles, as King Herod is said to have murdered his own family. Moyles will ALSO be asked to SING. Tickets are expected to be £65.00 !!

Tim Minchin will also be in the production !! :hahaha:

Can't help feeling tickets will definitely be a sell-out, as many people will show up just to see/hear if Moyles can pull something like this off !!

Also, how much will a full tour affect his Breakfast show commitments, or is he just doing the O2 show?

The moyles.nets seem to have an article indicating he will be able to fit the Lloyd Webber Show around his radio Show, as he could still broadcast from local Stations. He has done it all before, after all.

Show will also be in : Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff, Belfast and Dublin - what a coup !!

Hmm I suppose using local stations could work, but performances would probably still finish quite late. Also... I'm no expert on such tours, but don't many of them have 2 performances a day sometimes? Wondering where he'd get time for sleep.

Worked for Summer Strallen, got noticed by Lloyd-Webber, then got crowbarred into Hollyoaks for a while playing a character that ended up chasing Lloyd-Webber down a London street to audition for a lead in a musical (I think it was The Sound Of Music), then left the show to Actually do that. This was back when Hollyoaks was vaguely watchable (OK, she was one of the reasons it was watchable).
