That's Broadcasting House, London. To the right is the traditional, actual Broadcasting House, the picture is taken from one of the new buildings.

I didn't know Radio 1 will be going to move in there, thought it would just be News and Radio 4/5Live. But then, Andy Parfitt made some allegations in his webchat a few weeks back.

Does anyone know if Radio 2 will move? That place will have to be massive. Radio 1 has it's own (well, almost) five-storey building at the moment...

Well for the BBC it's a cost cut thing; once Radio 1 has moved, they have one building less to care about. Also, in the video webchat thing Andy Parfitt siad something about their current building having been a car showroom or repair shop or something, so it wasn't really designed to be a place to produce radio shows from in the first place.

I don't want them to move! It was so nice standing outside R1 waiting for Scott & Dev. I don't think that's possible anymore when they'll have moved - well, it'd be possible, but the security guys will probably have better things to do then than taking pics of fans with DJs...

But it's nice that they get new studios, probably with new equipment as well.
