In a DRAMATIC TWIST, D J Chris Evans has upped the stakes in the Moyles - v - Evans battle!!

Radio 2's Chris Evans has told the Sunday papers that Chris Moyles has "no content" on his R1 breakfast show!!

He goes on to say, "It took Moyles 5 YEARS to get where I did in ONE, although I had done a lot of stuff before that. He has BECOME the story, and when you're the story, you're f*****.

"Here I am sitting in a Studio that is BURSTING with content. He's got a Show, but he hasn't got a Show. He hasn't got the content". :shock:

Evans has expressed a wish to talk to Moyles, but doesn't feel Moyles would welcome him with open arms. :hahaha:

Sorry, it's kind of blantantly obvious that Evans is saying that because Chris is in the papers with one thing and another, he is effectively on his way out.

He is saying (I think) there is no substance anymore. Moyles + his life have become THE STORY (for the moment anyway).

I guess Evans should know seeing as he was once THE STORY himself, just before he got booted into the radio equivalent of outer space.

Ahhhh I see. I couldn't figure out what was under the stars. All sorts of words went through my head, except the obvious. Evans was a mess in the 90's. Moyles' lifestyle now is of no comparison to that!

No-one is saying it is. The point is he is making all the papers though, as the stories/rumours keep coming up about his life, so he IS the story.

After all, we on here keep discussing Moyles pretty much week after week, and recently it's been more about Sophie, or his salary, than actual show content.

i remember listening to one of Evans's shows one day where all he did was talk.

i used to like Evan's but he disappeared up his own arse years ago !

Evans thinks Moyles is a Fascia? why did they feel the need to star that out...

Evans should know about 'being the story', he often tried to MAKE himself the story soo... one thing with Moyles is that it's the idiotic tabloid media that has made him the story by overanalysing every little thing, especially in the case of the Daily Fail who got it wrong at least twice recently when it comes to Moyles.

True. But the rumours and the topics keep on coming up.... I log on today, and there's yet more. So, even though Evans did so often make himself the story, there's still something in what he is saying.
