To add also Jordan and Katie, Roman Kemp, Chris were there too...Saturday evening...there are picures of them on a train station (Daily Mail).
Scott even said he was crying during the ceremony.

The problem is with Radio 2 having the 00s stuff, is that they need to grow some balls so to speak. We can't have play it safe Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Will Young all the time. They need to play stuff like Pendulum, Linkin Park, Slipknot. Some of the popular dance and trance stuff too. This is how the 00s was and how we remember it. Otherwise if they don't it still suits Radio 1 better. 

Agreed,with Rylan, Scott, Angela Griffin, DJ Spoony spinning 00s tracks on 2 it would be a better fit.

Agreed with the likelihood of this but when she is given a generic show it can either make or brake your career. I understand that covering someone else’s show unless you have built up a large audience and a listeners like Scott did with his breakfast stint it would be barely a must listen. But maybe got to give Nat some chance.

Leave the microphones up and make D.I.Y noises through songs you don't like.

Feels like there's a strong push with the new Weekend Breakfast. Sam and Danni have been doing new headshots, and the boss is in Wales for the programme. Can't remember a buzz behind a new show since the new daytime schedules last year.
 

I agree! And also with many other comments here. There’s absolutely no chemistry between these two and they give me the vibe they don’t even like each other! Surprised they’ve not been removed tbh. I used to really like Dean when he did solo weekend shows but switch off now. Her voice grates on me. Emil & James would make a much better pairing in my opinion and would have been a been a better replacement for Scott & Chris (who I loved!) as I think they both have a similar sense of humour. 

I think it'll be a good couple of years before sam and danni move into a weekday slot, especially as they haven't begun on weekends yet and if any lesson is learnt, its rushing "new" presenters into a weekday slot is a bad idea. I think there's more to change before that, such as RMC coming to a natural end and potentially Matt too. There's also the chance someone may consider Dean and vicky just aren't good enough for afternoons, a buffer between Mills and someone actually good if you like. All that could end up happening at the same time

Going to disagree on the best presenter on the station he was a lot better many years ago peaked on drive. Katie Thistleton & Jack Saunders are now up in the stations best presenters.

Greg is by far the best DJ on the station now. Fingers crossed he stays for a while longer yet. 
-RMC feel very wasted in their slot. They would've suited the 1pm slot as well. It just feels very crowded having 3 people on mid mornings. I can't help but feel they won't move beyond their current slot, although Charlie might have an extended future with Dance Anthems.
-Sam & Danni are probably the best of the new intake, and have been long overdue a permanent slot. I'm sure they'll make the new weekend breakfast show their own, hopefully they progress to weekdays in the next couple of years. 
 
 
 

I must admit, I echo what others have said above. I never thought I'd start to move on from Radio 1, but I have definitely started to move towards being a Radio 2 listener now. Although I massively miss Scott & Chris on R1, I think Scott has settled in well at Radio 2. I also agree Matt & Mollie would've been a much stronger choice for that slot. It's one of a few shows I do still enjoy.  
Scott & Chris' departure was definitely one of the biggest losses to Radio 1 in my opinion. I can't help but feel Dean's rise to weekday daytime was rather sudden, Vicky's even more so. Had they started up on weekends together, it wouldn't 'maybe' have sounded so so jarring?

Yes I agree with this I think the line up is fairly good at the moment the only thing I could see changing is maybe Matt moving on the near future would mollie maybe work with James cussack

They are 'OK' but that's about as far as it goes for me, then saying that it's Radio 1 in general now for me anyway. Likewise to the above, when Scott is on I'm tuned into him because his show just suits better. It's more the music that makes me switch about nowdays. 2 when 80s before my time comes on, and 1 when 'gimmie a quid or man will stab ya nan' type grime comes on.

I can see that.  Am sticking with R1 2pm-3pm, in my routine (for now) - Agree with others that Matt & Mollie would have made more of it ....

Scott and Chris Moyles didn't live in each others pockets but I believe they were on good terms. Chris Moyles contributed to a few things during Scott's drivetime show once or twice. Like the 'busted' call where someone was trying to sell stories of Moyles to the tabloids. And Scott set it up that Moyles exposed the individual involved.
