When you tweet ideas, links etc, make sure you put #millsthemusical hash tag in your tweets, so we can easily find them!

Glad you've had the loaf to get a twitter page together!!

Well done, Golden girl, for your song!!! Makes a nice change as well from the Pinot Grigio choons! Funny the way so many people zone in on that!

How's this?

"Hey Scott, Becki, Chopper and the brilliant Posh Radio 4 Lady!

I live half an hour away from Edinburgh and will definitely be going to see Scott Mills - The Musical.

I would like to offer my services to the musical. I think I would be a brilliant Young Scott Mills, I'm 15 and I don't have any previous acting roles, but it is obvious from Casualty, The Bill and Hollyoaks, that you don't either. I can't sing - but then again either can you so I think I'm on to a winner here! smile_tongue.gif

Did I fail to mention that I also have a bit of a moon-head? Judge for yourselves, I have attached a photo!

I would love to get involved, however if not, can I please get some lovely radio1 DJ autographs etc..? Please!

Love you,

Goodbye

Neil in Stirling

Btw, I spell my name wrong because everyone pronounces it wrong!:hahaha:

Thanks Jono

Fraz, that is completely awesome!

I wish they'd hurry up and start selling tickets, or at least telling us how to get them!

And, just wondering, do I really look like Scott Mills? 'Cause I think I might need to run away and go on a cosmetic surgery holiday, actually that might be fun, I'd probably meet him!! LOL!:D

Some photos off of Mills The Musical on twitter from the meeting yesterday! Even Laura and Sam were there! Unlike Mills who was a few hours late.

Plus a very blurry picture of Scott taken by TOWDS, how much had TOWDS had to drink? :hahaha:

Pinot Grigio was played out this morning at 7:53 by Fraser :)

    • https://youtu.be/A_Cycjg5_9A?si=NiLTFeiTNWBExFoR   As barmy as Sam Ryder has now gone, as shown in this video. I'd still rather it than that bland Olly Alexander record.
    • I like Scott, and I listen to Rylan's show every week... they do sound great together on Eurovision etc but.. as for a daily show together, I don't think it would work. Rylan would probably have to reign it in a bit which would lose his appeal, otherwise it may become too chaotic, in my opinion. That Saturday slot is perfect for Rylan, his rapport with Sally Traffic and Lottie is great. I suppose it comes down to cost as well and if he would want a daily show?   Radio 2 are clearly happy with Scott's show, and considering he's just won Best Entertainment Show at the ARIA's, I can't see them changing much.
    • A win for Scott which is fantastic after the last few years he's been through!
    • Am I outnumbered for not wanting to work in radio? It feels like there's a lot of geeks that want a job in the industry here.
    • Thought Sam and Danni were robbed of an award.
    • OJ Borg is in for Trevor Nelson on the Rhythm Nation tonight (with Phill Williams on overnight). He's also in for Michael Ball for the next two Sundays (12th and 19th May). Ros Atkins (BBC's Analysis editior) is in for Jeremy Vine on Thursday. Another new name to Radio 2 is Oliver Hides from BBC Radio Wales. He sat in for Owain Wynn Evans yesterday and he's in again this Thursday (9th May) and Bank Holiday Monday (27th) Spoony in for Scott Mills from Tuesday 28th till Friday 31st May.
    • Thought they would make it easier to get to this event. There's been no communication from the council or organisers about travel, even though there's talk of train strikes. Smaller councils have done a better job.
    • They do sound good together, but I'm not sure Rylan will want the extra commitments.
    • I have accepted Chris is unlikely to join Scott's show, and that Chappers has moved on, but I still think he could do with a co-host. The most logical solution, I think, is Rylan. He appears more often on his show than not, and they are great together. Radio 2 could lose Rylan's Saturday show and extend his reach by appearing during the week. I think they'd be great!
    • Tattoo took a while to grow on me. I couldn't see the fuss until weeks after. We have a split household here where the war on Gaza is overshadowing an enjoyment. I'm hoping for a protest of some sort.
    • I've heard that the staging is very impressive.  That and him being "known" might prevent an embarrassing result.  I'm a terrible judge of Eurovision though as Tattoo is still so very meh to me.
    • Feels like after the success of Sam Ryder we are going back to our old ways. Olly Alexander's song is pretty weak. Anyone fancy our chances this year?
    • The more time goes on the more you think if they'd actually put some thought into it it should've been Vick & Katie from the start. A proven pairing and Katie ended up on the show anyway - whereas Katie's even mentioned she was only asked to join after the Jamie announcement And even by Going Home standards on time off, it's quite funny that a few months in we still haven't had a full week of the supposed line-up - and that's with a 4-day week.
