I always listen to the podcast as I never manage to get a whole show in, but the podcasta always seem to be 2-3 days late, so whatever has been talked about on the show is already wayyy in the past.

Is it just me that has this problem when getting the podcasts or does anyone else find that they're always 2-3 days late?

Not 2-3 days for me, but I usually get the day befores.

How do you get your podcasts?

It depends on the situation and how the team are for time.

The podcasts on breakfast are usually pretty quickly added. Today's podcast was added just before midday. It depends on a lot of factors - how busy they are, how much time they have and whether it's a weekend or not.

My podcasts download automatically in my iTunes Chippy.

Also Jono, I see what you mean about the breakfast podcasts being quick, todays one has just downloaded for me!

I download my podcasts off iTunes automatically aswell and normally the afternoon ones come through the next afternoon however there can sometimes be a 3 day delay if the teams have another big project on.

Nope. Don't think you'll find they work as they link to the BBC server.

They get sent automatically to you if you subscribe to the podcast don't you?

I think what the OP was talking about was that they weren't being downloaded because some were being made late. Now they're on breakfast the turn around rate has been a lot quicker.

I always seemed to notice they'd become available at about 4pm the next day, though that might've just been a bit random
