It's been done in Grand Central Station in New York, now it's going to happen in Norwich.

It's a type of flashmobbing where everyone stands still for a few minutes in the daytime.

The Norwich Big Freeze is being held on the 31st of May at 1400 hours on Gentleman's walk for five minutes, after which pre-synchronised telephone alarms or clocks or watches all ring to signal the move away.

It sounds amazing. Has it happened anywhere else?
