If Scott dosent want to broad cast the fact that he is or isnt gay he shouldnt feel pressured into doing so.

Talking about Scott Mills on a Scott Mills forum... hmmm... it's so 2005 isn't it?

Come on, let's be serious, the last time there was a proper debate about it was a while ago, and now there's a fair amount of new members it's good to see what people's views are on it.

True, however - how much can you debate on someone's sexuality before it gets boring?

If I was a well known Radio Presenter, the last thing i'd want to see or read about is a bunch of loyal fans talking about if I like guys. Ask yourself, would like people talking about you in this way? I wouldn't.

Fans should know everything about him, you can read pretty much everything about him on this site. Scott has admitted to being gay ages ago in magazine and i'm pretty sure he's either said it on air, or hinted to it.

If you listen to the show regularly, you can start to pick up somethings that suggest he's otherwise gay.

Unlike The Chris Moyles Show where Aled seems to be happy with Chris ripping the bobobobo out of him, he's not the center of attention on the show where as Mills probably feels that part of his life has not real place on the show.

Ask yourself, the question a couple of times of why does scott never admit? Its because he doesn't have to. Maybe he's finding it hard to admit on the radio? Maybe he just likes people to guess? Maybe he just doesn't want that kind of attention.

Not everyone knows, which is a good % of people that listen, partly because they clearly aren't able to realise this and get a shock when they do. The amount of people i've heard say, "Oh my god - Scott Mills is gay"

Its hard being gay without having the pressure of telling people. Would it matter if Scott was straight, would he have to admit to being straight too? It's only because some of the other DJs at Radio 1 have wife's or are known to be seeing people that are female that they openly admit to doing this and that with them.

When I was at School, I obviously knew I was gay. But I didn't feel the need to go about letting everyone in my way know about it. Nor do I openly let people know on forums or when i'm meeting people for the first time. Some people are intelligent enough to realise this by my actions when they get to know me.

Only later in life did I feel the need to let my family know and my friends. This was a hard time and to be honest with you, its a bit like an operation in the respect you've got to tell the people you trust the most first.

This topic should be put into a more general direction, rather than one individual. For example, what do people think about the media outing well known people like the Ex-BP chap or Jodie Foster? I could go on for ages to answer that but what i'm trying to say is - that this topic should be developed and discussed on wider matter.

But we're not discussing if he likes guys. It's a forum. The soul purpose of it is for people who have questions to come and get opinions from those that listen. I'd rather the guy got a sensible answer than no answer at all.

All I can say is "why should Scott have to say something?" kind of thing, he doesnt need to, its his own choice and no-one should put pressure on him to say anything about the subject.

I dont think that scott should have to say anything.... his private life is his own.

But I do think its strange that he seems to play at being straight in some of his comments and asides...I dont know how to take some comments... like last week with the fake marriage... taking the bobobobo out of the idea of two girls being lesbians.

There is also something about him and all the other DJs being public figures on National radio and therefore being someone who might influence public opinion, both for good and bad. So maybe it wouldnt hurt for him to come across as a more openly gay figure.
