Have you ever texted it? Who did you text and what did you say? And most importantly, did they read your text on air?

I did for the first time today. I texted Pete Tong. My message was: "Hi Pete I'm a listener from the USA I never miss your show I love you to pieces". And no, he did not read it on air.

Do you text Scott a lot? I probably should do that.

I don't think my texts have ever been read out on air. I've sent quite a lot in my time, although I did get a call back from Laura in 2004 about one.

I think you're better off e-mailing them, as the team checks texts whereas generally just the DJ checks the e-mail.

I texted loads of times to all shows.

I texted JK and Joel on Joel's birthday and they read it out, then they tried to ring me at 6am I assume as they didn't have a female contestant for Andy's basket but I didn't get the call as I had left my phone upstairs by then :roll:

In fact,I will not try both.Because I don't know what I can text or e-mail,or just 'Hi!How are you doing'?:-p I like dropping messages in Myspace more than text or e-mail.

The very first text I sent in was something really daft when I was travelling home listening on my mobile. 2 mins later Laura rang me up to speak to Scott on air and I said no as I was mortified.

i texted in coxys show a couple of times and shes never read mine out but wen i used to text in to comersial radio before i listened to radio1 they used to read my texts out and reply back to my e mails

I texted into Chopper and Dave and got a mention for myself and the site,Cant seem to remember anything else..i mainly email cos im a cheapskate and dont like using loads of credit.
