I've noticed on all the IB videos, when Scott is introducing the IB feature to begin with he is always writing something down. He's never really concentrating on what he is doing on the paper so I just wondered if anyone knew what an earth he was writing down or if it was just doodling?! Its been bugging me for ages!

CHRIST. Drawing himself a new Studio may be accurate, with Moyles' announcement. Cannot believe this is happening so fast.

All I have to say is....... FUCK ... wonder if it is all to do with the Trust bringing down this age range, and all their bloody nonsense. Moyles' twitter just says "more details soon"...?!

So, with Greg not long in the new slot, this leaves Scott among choices for brekkie then.... and maybe a chance to show the R1 bosses he CAN do it, when they thought he couldn't.

Love the politics. love a bit of politics.

Mills has declared Moyles leaving the end of an era. Agreed. Been a pleasure all these years. An absolute pleasure.

*starting to become quite emotional* Damn. Why did this have to be the one morning I was listening to Radio 2 because Evans isn't there this week, and my dad has to tell me all about this.

Just found this:-

An hour into the Radio 1 breakfast show this morning, presenter Chris Moyles announced that he would be stepping down from his role as presenter.

In a four-minute speech he said, "I wanted to say thank you to everyone listening to the show for giving the team and me the best time ever... Even during tough times this show has honestly been the best three hours of my day, every day."

Radio 1 controller Ben Cooper – who has been under pressure to make the station’s audience younger – said "I'd like to thank Chris. Quite simply he's been the most successful breakfast show host in Radio 1 history. He's done it for more than eight and half years and he's been fantastic."

At 38, Moyles is much older than the radio station’s target audience of 15 to 29 year-olds and this move follows similar changes that Cooper has recently made to the schedule which has included switching 26-year-old Greg James into 39-year-old Scott Mills’s main afternoon slot.

Moyles is contracted to remain with Radio 1 until New Year 2014, however.

Ya know. Just spotted a button saying 'multi quote this message' when replying to stuff. Does that mean this is how peeps reply to several points other people make? rather than double or triple posting?

Yep, exactly that, click that on all the posts you want to reply to, then click the Big Reply To Thread button at the bottom to make that work. Only works with posts on the current page though.
