BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles has complained to Haringey council over plans to chop down trees near his £1.8million Highgate home.

Moyles, 36, wrote that locals "greatly appreciate" the small woodland area's "natural landscape and wildlife habitat", and that felling the trees would damage his "privacy and peace".

Loromah Estates submitted the plan last month. Four 80ft-high sycamores have already gone but the developers say they acted within the law to stop subsidence.

God. That's a lovely garden you've got there. Can I come to stay ? !

thanx,

there is a gate so you can go out into the wood, you need a license though because there is some sort of Bat that is protected that lives in some of the trees & some Reeds that are special that grow in one of the pools.

we get lots of hedge hogs, squirrels about seen a few badgers about as well, there is a wood pecker we hear from time to time & a cookoo here a owl hooting sometimes, lots of fox's to but they help keep down the cat population.

:)
