Aah. I went to Majorca when I was two, along with France. A few years back I went on a coach trip with my grandparents. France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, and all them little countries round there. Think I went to like, 8 countries in a week?

Woo. :)

OMASM. Radio presenters are like fruit. Matt is my kumquat and Scott is blatantly my orange.

Anyone from Edinburgh / surrounding area been in the city center then?

Last year I didnt have a problem with any of what was going on because it was the first time I had properly "done" the festival, despite having lived here all my life. However this year I'm getting a little fed up. Yes there are a lot of shows on and I'm sure most are fairly descent, from what I've seen of the proper street performers (unicyclists, knife jugglers etc) they are good as well, but what I don't appreciate is people banging on about how great their show is and thrusting things into my hand.

Me and 1 of my friends fell into this trap on Sunday, went into a venue after being promised top notch comedy and it was essentially a drama group with a nonsense play that wasnt funny. We all know the type, think they're the next big thing when in reality they're jumped up kids who over-act everything.

The best one was yesterday though. Was in town with some people, as usual flyers being forced on us to the point where the pile was getting ridiculous. 1 of the people I was with had had enough, wasnt planning on seeing any of it so put them in the bin, only for someone to comment to a performer/leaflet person about him having done it and the end result was insults about him being said, clearly intended on the group I was with hearing it.

However, been to 7 shows so far (all stand up comedy) and only 1 has disappointed slightly, gonna see what I can do about getting tickets for Becky's and Scott's shows over the next couple of days as well. Definitly got another 3 shows to go to as well and I might stretch that to 4 or possibly 5.

Despite my moans about the aforementioned jumped up little brats, I think I'm genuinely gonna miss it when it goes again

I think it's a scottish police drama, so it's like the bill but in Scotland.:)

Thats Taggart you're thinking of isnt it? By far the best police program on tv, I'll happily watch 1 of those but I can't bare most other programs about the police etc

I know River city and Taggart are different show i just thought River City was about police cos Scott played a policman as he usually does. I agree with you about Taggart it's a muurrda:)

The probable one was Beautiful Thing. But I like Prayers For Bobby, Shelter and stuff like that. YouTube films.

My actual one is Love Actually. :) My mum & I watch all the Hugh Grant / COLIN FIRTH movies. Quite like them. Bridget Jones, Notting Hill...

Obviously watch Chick Flicks too. Espesh at sleepovers. That is, when we're not having a Gavin & Stacey marathon.
