the school bully tried to bully me once, & he got a punch in the mouth for his troubles, after that he left me alone.

God you're scary!! People just bully for the power over others, I think. It's interesting how many situations bullying may be found in. I mean, people associate it with schooldays, yet you can find it in the street, on nights out, in the workplace, in the park, at the shops!!!

The psychological effects are often greatly under-estimated, I think.

I had a young lad briefly bully me during biology lessons at school, until I punched him on the nose, and made him bleed (not nice, I know, but it worked!!). I hid in the library afterwards incase he got me back later!!! lol

I see... I wear mine for "luck" which might sound a bit mad, but it seems to work!! It annoys me when people won't ask what's written on it. I mean, at work, for example, I've had people attempt to read the writing on the band, but they won't actually come out and ask what it says. Maybe I look unapproachable, or something.

I need to clean my book case mines in a tin on the book case but theres too much stuff on top and in front (most of which aren't books).

It's good that they are doing a bullying season again, i still have the wristband somewhere from the last time. I was bullied all the way through school, and ended up missing most of Year 11 with depression because of it and other things. still got the depression, but things are most definately better now after i left school. i can be myself, and people know me as myself, and thats all that matters to me. I will never change for anyone.

i have never bothered with them band things.

just found this site http://www.wristbands.co.uk/ where they will make ones you want :) we could have some UM geek ones made out of orange :D

i cannot seem to find them bully ones :(

They were given away by radio 1 back in 2004/5.

      I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!

      I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter

      I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?

      Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.

      Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.

      I remember hearing Amy first on Scotts show and she was great on that, the daft quiz questions always made me smile. It's really nice to see the hard work has paid off for them all.

      Actually the worst tends to be those who comment on Radio Today news stories. People who haven’t listened to younger oriented radio stations in years who say things like “who?” about any job going to any presenter aged younger than 50.

      Ahhh very happy for Amy - that’s very well deserved! I didn’t hear their final show but are Matt and Mollie keeping Helena? Hopefully she might be the main producer of their new show!
