Will there be a full list of what was played on Radio 1 online? They don't seem to have updated the subsite for the takeover from last time.

Maybe it would have made it too easy to spot tracks that are on or have recently been on the playlist being requested, and mysteriously those are chosen.

I've really been looking forward to this. Don't quite understand how it works though, as they have been speaking to people on the phone mainly, rather than reading out texts. The phone lines are permanently engaged. Oh well, I have texted in twice. All seems a bit chaotic to me.

Personally with the Golden Hour and the Lie-In I think the requirement for the Ten Hour Takeover has some what faded compared to 2004.

I'm still pessimistic than the music department have huge control over what is played because the same songs seem to crop up in the Lie-In and the Wonder Years.

Anyway, Annie Mac just seems to be doing her own thing as she doesn't really seem to be telling us who is requesting what, and so far I've failed to hear a song older than the past ten years.

They should have put Chappers & Dave on, they would love playing the older songs. They keep playing clips of Scott which make me giggle

Only stuff i've heard thats old so far is Stevie Wonder - Superstition and Prince - When Doves Cry........If they play too much old stuff they'll go out of the format and would get fined by OFCOM.

if R1 were picking some of them they'd have the segues prebuilt like every other day and 1tro's aren't being used.

You can tell that the segues are being done live as they're not as strong as usual days and they seem a little shakey.

I think they are actually playing everything that gets requested and not playing playlist stuff.
