Jo isn't old - she's one of the most youthful lively and modern people around. Chronological age isn't as important as attitude surely, look at Annie Nightingale.

I love it when you lot get on your high horses about age ;) I was only making a tongue in cheek joke :P

I was like Stop shouting and tbh mother I dont really need to know that and thanks for waking me.." but I managed to get back to sleep so that was ok, apologies for not being here..I might listen again but its a good telly night tonight..

I dont think she understands its summer and I want to sleep in..

Haha just been reading one of the sunday magazines and saw a story that reminded me so much of the show. A couple were almost hit bya frozen block of urine. It caused £2,000 worth of damage to their home. Apparently there's 30 cases of this a year.

Clearly she didn't know Scott then. And not suprised at Chappers' not in my experience comment.

Why not nekkidness at any time? Lets rebel and have afternoon tea naked with the local councillor and the headteacher from the comprehensive, your Mum and a random charity person.

Jono - you fallen asleep? Young people have no stamina!

Yeah Mika's much more like the sort of person Scott'd like to hear that sort of phone call from.

I'm fed up with these songs about fat fanciers and chubby chasers. Need a few more like Jennie don't be Hasty about yummy lads fancying older ladies.

Just me then :(

Jo talking to people from Heroes. That sounds interesting. Hope I can catch part of that. Also, will we get more video from Treadmill Trivia like the one before of Laura, that was pretty popular I remember?

Ah well have to go shower. Even though I'm the only UM person posting just now. WAKE UP JONO!!!!

Back for a coupla minutes - do like the Scouting for Girls ROW.

Chappers you are a miserable git. What good is it being ok looking, clever and good at comedy if you're f*ing miserable???

Looking forward to seeing video of this, does Chappers usually go to the gym or is he about to fall on the floor gasping for breath?

Where do Jo's children go to school? What kind of sport question is that?

It sounds about as appealing as Harry Potter to me. Anything over hyped like this I refuse to watch. Plus there's a small technicality I won't be at home tonight to see it. Scott's safer off sticking to The Bill, it's easier to dip in and out of.

Peter Jones off of Dragon's Den, and that rubbish Tycoon show that no one watched or cared...

Getting down with kids. Do you do youth speak Gill?

He sounds like he's off of the BT text service. No enthusiasm.

No I don't do youth speak, maybe Scott should get someone really posh? Or for a change someone who is so really NOT posh.

Wish I could hear the show - will listen again later.

Texted Scott about the Will I Am record, wonder if he read it? I said the theme of someone's Mum being sexy and that's where they got it from is an ok theme with me :)

Made me laugh that they didn't think Umbrella'd do much - if only they'd been right.

    • The BBC commissioning brief mentions it is a 'mid morning show' for Radio 1 Dance https://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/radio/documents/comm_brief_r1_dance_morning_show.pdf
    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
    • I remember hearing Amy first on Scotts show and she was great on that, the daft quiz questions always made me smile. It's really nice to see the hard work has paid off for them all.
