Do you mean these sort of chat up lines? :-? :P

Chappers: "Do you have a bit of Mancunian in you?"

Lola: "Do I want any Mancunian in me? Are you a Mancunian? I could see that joke coming a mile off!"

Scott: "What's that coming over the hill, is it THAT joke!"

It's because he's jealous of our special relationship with Scott. He wants some love, and to try and show he's not bothered he slags us off... bless him. Just like Spoony.

"Where's my fansite?! I'm not bitter or ought..."

I don't think Chappers' guide to dating would last very long to be honest... :P

i personally dont think chopper knows much about relationships anyway. all i have heard over the time i have listened to him is that he fancies cheryl tweedy and anyone can do that.

he started all of this so we start a thread and tell our relationship stories and stuff so he can get some advice. it's ok chopper we will help.

on the grid.

ahh i have happened to read his posts! no doubt he is trying to be clever, when he can't becuase it's likley he's in a spacker school.

ok so if i were a professional at any job what makes people happy. i would be flattered at having a fansite full of people that gives up their own time and puts in effort that only helps and promotes the show. and yes, even chappers. i am involved in radio, and although it is impossible. i would be happy that people like my show enough to make a fansite for it but that of course wont happen.

what we have been having latley is a wave of a type of people knows as t w a t s. these type of people come onto the site with their arms swinging about in rage trying to make themselves look good when it just dosent work for them.

it is simple, if scott wanted to slag somthing off so bad he would of done it by now. i have listened to his show for long enough to realise that and fcuk face 06 obviously hasn't learned anything about this place nor has even gone through the time and trouble to listen to our mentions. so are we geeks becuase lets say we know how to make an mp3, anyone who dosent know how to make one or learn to in a short amount of time is frankly crap on computers.

ah screw it i am not going to go on. i'll round it to this. if you want to make people's crap efforts like fcuk face's die in vein. then just ignore their posts, hey there is even an ignore feature on here which i have found useful. use it.

on the grid.

    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
    • I remember hearing Amy first on Scotts show and she was great on that, the daft quiz questions always made me smile. It's really nice to see the hard work has paid off for them all.
    • Actually the worst tends to be those who comment on Radio Today news stories. People who haven’t listened to younger oriented radio stations in years who say things like “who?” about any job going to any presenter aged younger than 50.
