What do you think of the fact the Mirror is reporting that Edith, Sara and Vernon will be potentially axed from R1??

Please don't let this be true. Sara, in particular, has gone from strength to strength at the moment. Very funny and very engaging.

Edith is great. Nice easy listening, and I really missed her at the weekend!!

Vernon, imo, can go without me missing him in anyway!!

I've warmed to Sara since she first appeared on breakfast with the rest of the team when Chris wasn't in.

Vernon is great, he and Huw are the only thing on at weekends which I listen to now. You can probably deduce from that last sentance that I don't particularly like Edith. She was alright when she was with Colin Murray but since shes been going it alone I've found her show rather bland.

Vernon's all right but I don't really care if any of them leave. It'd free up some space for Matt to get his own three hour show. Although I'm not really sure if I want that, because then I won't get my emails on every single one of his podcasts…

Why do R1 have to do this to DJs.... in this desperate attempt to attract "yoof", we always have to have these overhauls, then all the rubbish people are brought in. :-(

Sara tweeted yesterday that it must of been a slow news day and a load of rubbish and has just signed to radio 1 for another year....

Now they can't make rubbish up about Moyles they are turning there attention to the stations other older DJ's.

Edith and Vernon can go but i am glad Sara is staying. Vernon is never there anyway! Although Edith has got better (mind, only in the last 3/4 weeks!)

I think Edith's been quite good for a while, but it's true that Vernon's hardly ever there. And they can't sack Coxy!

Edith may have had a sense something was up, hence more and more involvement in the "movies" side of her life... Just a thought, but you never know.

They can't get rid of Sara! I actually miss Edith now, I tend to miss her morning slot so when I do hear her its quite good!

Not particularly bothered about Vernon though.
