I am just curious here, is it highly impossible to get work experience in london? I was told my some of my friend's friends that told me that its really difficult. So far I hadn't had any difficulty getting stuff at commercial radio stations with a week or two week placements in london but they're telling me the opposite..

Just wondering and generally asking.

It depends where you are trying to get work experience....If it is the BBC, then yes it will be pretty much impossible.

You could try, but its all networked. I doubt much will happen there.

Local stations are all networked from London/Manchester nowadays.

So, basically, you cant win.
