Did anyone get a chance to listen to Dean this morning? I’ve had a listen back tonight and I think he sounds so much stronger on his own and will do very well in that slot. He’s already keeping the vibe of it being a little club of listeners up at that time which is needed and even though the show seemed pretty light on features (he said some would be introduced throughout the week) it flowed really nicely and felt like he was putting his own stamp on it.

I've just listened to thr 1st hour of the show and seems to be more music and less chat but as he doesn't have features yet it makes sense.

Hopefully he will do well as he's a good presenter but needs time to work out the correct games and features for that time of day

Surely he could have just carried on beat or repeat? unles Arielle is taking that to R1D. What he should do is a feature that gets the brekfast presenter involved about 0640, something like bangers and play the track at 650.
