Will see the politics of the BBC funding radio as budget cuts are looking possible at the same time Newsbeat and Asian Network moving to Birmingham and 6 Music and Radio 3 moving all their programming, production and management to Salford.

With announcements for today wonder what this means for future generations of BBC 

with…

wonder what in the longterm it will affect BBC’s Radio output would be affected. Quite possibly some changes to youth news content in the shake-up. Even there’s nothing about newsbeat in it but wonder how this will change BBC’s youth programming etc

Kind of think maybe on BBC Two as they often re-run competition shows, game shows and light entertainment that have already been played. Do hope that there’s consideration for maybe featuring stuff like newsround, bitesize stuff and educational-entertainment stuff for more school aged children in those slots
