Correct. I like loads of different music. Basically anything that sounds good from Gaga to Metallica. Variety is definately better than repeat repeat repeat.

Hell as long as it's variety, I think it can afford the odd bad song, seems to work for 6Music.

Well, maybe 100 years ago 'that' stuff was on repeat repeat repeat on a 'new' music station (as it would of been new then). And why don't you download that sort of music and listen to it on an iPod or whatever AND listen to Radio 1, and guess what? VARIETY!

And you confuse me

Hurmm... Same here, I really don't even know what I am talking about..

But you confuse ME, you listen to Radio 1, but don't reaally like 'new' music?

Yeah because Radio1 was massive in 1910... but it's actually only fairly recent that Radio1 really played stuff to absolute death.

Why should they HAVE to?

It's not variety when you listen to radio 1, then listen to the exact same stuff on the Ipod.

It was sarcasm, and you get my point.

I don't get it. Can you word that better?

I listen to R1 and DO like NEW music. Im often on youtube hunting for songs especially from the specialist shows which are all about NEW music. Then I download and put them on my phone/mp3 player. I put 13 more songs on about an hour ago some new some old
