Here is my final version of my schedule. Since I started making this in April, Radio 1 announced an awful lot of schedule changes which seemed to match up with my version, so the only real changes to daytime are some of the timings. When you get to post-4pm, I've made the most changes here, especially on the weekend.
Leaving you'd have Adele Roberts and Benji B (with DJ Target also leaving Radio 1 but staying on 1Xtra), and joining the station would be Rakeem Omar, Robyn Richford, Dave Treacy, Sam & Danni and Jess Iszatt.

For me the best music station for doing online content for me is @Jono Jazz FM really know how to cover and promote stuff from shows use interactions with listeners do livestreams. It’s like you’d think they’d could easily used insta stories on radio 1 page and twitter that’s here’s what coming up on Scott & Chris’ shows and do that for breakfast here’s coming up in the morning and giving presenters chance to use it and shade more bits from lifehacks and newsbeat. It would be good maybe to have short in case you missed it bits presented by presenters 2 minutes max of some best bits happened across the station in that week. I mean there’s always ways as presenters producers really know how to use social media. I mean even Radio 4 and 5 live see themselves behind from their commercial rivals on how to use it. Think sometimes the BBC have been cautious and inconsistent with their digital and social media strategies.

Brilliant news, he is still one of the top at the station and I hope he doesn’t go anywhere for a very long time.

What you gotta remember is: 
social media success relies on engagement. bbcr1 have obviously found that these sort of tweets perform better than others. And that’s the key - it’s about performance. It’s not about brand, it’s not about programming, it’s not about informing, it’s about the social teams’ report at the end of the month. 
they’ll do what works ON TWITTER… sucks but it’s true. 
Think of it this way - a presenters core listener might be 29, M/F. 
social media core user might be, 22, F. 
big difference in their behaviours/interests online 
social and on air are totally separate mediums, gotta remember that. What works on one, doesn’t necessarily work on the other 

Radio 1 Presenters are generally seen to be the listeners friend, their mate. They’re not above us. They’re not below us. They’re equivalent to us, at least on the radio. Whilst some DJs do like to delve into their celebrity life and Celeb gossip (a certain someone whose name rhymes with Jaya Maja) they generally all do this.
So, the social media feeds seem particularly baffling to me. The tweets seem to be desperately aimed at teenage girls. Why do they do this? Not one of the DJs aims at this, even if they are a fan of celeb gossip, a la Grimmy, they still do aim to a wider audience and are still enjoyable for everyone. I’ve linked some of my ‘favourite’ tweets below from the feed, but most of all, I think that they vitally need to fit back into the stations radio output so that they appeal to EVERYONE.
So anyway, what’s your opinion on the social media feeds?
 

My biggest problem is the nighttime schedule. From September I’d have:
Monday-Wednesday have a full on chillest show from 22:00-0:00, not just a power down playlist. This would be hosted by Sian.
Thursday night is the rock night, with The Indie Show followed by The Rock Show.
Friday and Saturday night are all about dance. Danny and Sarah on both nights, with Pete on Friday and Jaguar on Saturday.
on Sunday I’d have BBC Introducing followed by Sunday Chillout, hosted by Jess and then Sian.

Greg was hinting at "one final thing with Grimmy" this morning, so I'm definitely hoping hide and seek is on the cards

The one more change that I think will happen before 2023 is that Adele will leave, and be replaced by Katie. That’ll be the end of the Katie and Vick pairing, and Sam and Danni will take over Life Hacks.

My one problem with all of this - Katie has been a bit ‘forgotten’ with all of this. Realistically, she did deserve that morning a lot having been on the waiting list for a bigger slot for about four years. 

At the risk of disappearing down this same rabbit hole as last time... There is - quite simply - no 'problem' to fix, and even more than that, improvements are being made all the time. The station has recently won a bunch of awards, there is more new talent than that has been for years, the presenter roster is diverse and inclusive.... Of course yes you could put MORE new talent on, or MORE diversity (e.g. Asian voices), but that's missing the point. The goal of equality should be to ensure everyone gets a fair go, and is not discriminated against. Clearly that has been happening at the station for a good while, and there is no need to 'force-fit' any further such changes - we can just let that happen naturally now as talent evolves and grows.
It's also critical to keep a good focus on listener numbers, just as they are doing. It's idealistic to say that that doesn't matter and the station should push the boundaries further in daytime - quite simply without the strong figures, the station would be doomed. If anyone thinks the station sounds similar to commercial rivals in daytime, they really need to reconsider that view!!!
R1 Dance / Relax are low-cost add-ons that will attract a few more people to the station, and they do offer a commercial-free option that is pretty unique. All in all Aled is doing a fantastic job, the station has rarely sounded better and has never had such a forward-looking presenter strategy!

It's not as if every presenter comes that way. You've also got Arielle, Dean, Sian, Gemma and the like who have come through from working on the station doing cover slots and going into permanent ones. There wasn't really anyone else who could have done what RMC have done, same with Sarah Story, Vick Hope as well now I think about it.

I’m glad that there’s more cover - hope when Grimmy inevitably has some time off it goes to Jordan.

Sarah and Sian must hope to move to daytime eventually. Jack covered Grimmy a couple of weeks back so they must be preparing him to become a cover presenter.

I don’t really understand the idea that Matt and Mollie were demoted in January. Their previous position was closed and replaced with one which just covered Saturday and Sundays. By moving to 1pm they can stay on for three days a week.
