It's because you like your virtual friends isn't it, Baz? I tend to bump into people at gigs who tell me I'm on their myspace. No idea who they are, but it's quite amusing. Not the best conversation starter though...

What the **** was that clip Scott just played? Did I miss something yesterday?

It's an old scary movie that Scott found. It's an old man saying 'they're coming to get you' with Hollyoaks style acting. It's more funny than scary. Anyway, some small child rang up and did her impersonation. Which is actually 100x scarier!

Were you there when they talked about old school horror movies? That clip was a little girl saying a line from the clip Scott had played.

No I think it's off putting about girls getting tattoos. I like innocence, not girls that go around pretending to be laddish. Ladettes do nothing for me. Nor do I like it when they show off their swollen ankle or whatever because of it. Wow it's a tattoo, stop showing everyone! I'll draw on myself with felt pen and show everyone too shall I?

I don't like tattoos full stop. But it'd put me off a girl if she went getting one. It sounds bad but I'd think she was into drugs too.

The Hoosiers were at the R1 Xmas Party. I made a fool of myself by waving at them a lot, haha.

I don't know, it's just like they're getting a tatoo to look cool because they're at the age where it's legal. It's just an odd thought I have towards girls who get one because I think 'well where does this stop?'

Don't you hate it when you get clothing off the internet and it looks different to the picture. Got a coat from Next today and it looks thicker with a hoody underneath.

Chris Moyles was right about these 1Xtra adverts. Someone should appear on pop songs on 1Xtra saying "Good day! Just thought I'd let you know you can listen to some rather delightful songs like this on Radio 1. It's rather good. Listen on digital, FM and online. Toodle pip"

I tell you what I'm loving on BBC Three at the moment. 'Sex With Mum and Dad'. Quite disturbing, but amusing.

It's some really old woman who is a sex therapist. She comes from Norway and comes over to the UK to improve families and get them talking about sex.

It usually involves parents getting embarrassed saying why sex positions they did and have to put condoms on bananas.

It's on one weeknight, but is repeated on Sunday nights.

Yeah. Then the daughter is invited to meet her mother and grandmother to talk about their first sexual appearances. The nan usually goes on about "oh I did love a good blow job back in my day, that's what they call it now isn't it?" :D

I love Sex With Mum and Dad. It's hilarious. The woman who was on last week who couldn't cope with the fact that her daughter might not be a virgin forver was basically my mum.

"I'm not telling you when I lost my virginity as you'll think it's okay to go do it then... I lost it at 18..." :confused: I was expecting her to say 14 or something.

Wednesday nights. Repeated Sunday at 10pm for those that missed it.

"Families discuss sexual issues using the techniques of Dutch sexologist Maria Schopman. Eighteen-year-old Cheryl picks up men for sex in internet chat-rooms."

I love this song.

      Radio 1 at Parklife will be presented by Vicky and Nat. Nat is currently listed to present her usual Sunday show on that weekend but I imagine that will change and someone else will be doing it instead. The Radio 1 presenters at Download will be Daniel P Carter, Jack Saunders, Alyx Holcombe and Nels Hylton.

      He’s definitely gotten better and the show has sounded fine this week. I think it been at its best when it’s been Katie and Jamie or Vick and Katie. Vick and Jamie are ok together, but I do think the show sounds better when it’s Vick and Katie and therefore I still don’t really understand the point of the trio.    Jamie is, however, a lot better than Danny Beard!

      The RAJAR coming on later this year reflecting later summer to autumn will be interesting to how it reflects Matt and Mollie in afternoons to the revised changes on radio 1’s new music slots and the schedule re-shuffling Radio 3 introducing a new slate of programmes. Then, later on this year have speech radio stations having domestic political coverage of the election but also America’s presidential election.

      I actually caught snippets of today’s show, and I found it much better than the last time I listened. I have made it no secret that I like Jamie on the radio, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Matt & him together last year. People have criticised him for not being relatable, but I have to agree with the comment above that I have always found him a naturally warm person to listen to. Maybe the going home set up was something that needed settling in and things are starting to take shape.  It must have been difficult for him joining an established duo in Vick & Katie to begin with.  Jamie was great on something songs today, fully engaged in the caller and sounded like a real presenter. Maybe he is doing as a lot of us hoped and really learning as he goes, how to do it properly.

      Agree with this. The anti-Jamie feeling was IMO quite influenced by the negativity around him replacing Jordan, since Jordan was exceptional and also universally loved. When people mention Danny and Jamie in the same sentence about bad hiring decisions I almost choke - Jamie may not be perfect but he's several leagues better than Danny already and has bags of potential. Danny is poor and has shown zero potential...

      Jamie started 4 March, and the figures only going up to 31 March, so it isn't reliable. But it has shown the numbers have dropped in afternoons compared to last quarter. It looks like it's Capital's gain.

      I think Jamie is really starting to settle into the role well. He comes across as really warm, and genuinely invested in the listeners when he’s talking to them which is nice. I think he’s building a really great relationship with Vicki and Katie too. His recent great company podcast is great too, where he has quite a deep chat with someone new each week. He’s clearly a very genuine person and I think he has some real potential.

      I think it's just to replace Wind Down presents... which was in that timeslot, and I'm guessing Chillout Anthems was just a buffer since it'll still be played at 06:00 on Sundays.
