I'm staying up in my room all evening, there's a crazy witch downstairs. I think I might get to bed pretty early tonight, the weather's depressing me already.

The witch, is that your fathers wife Muriel that you told us about? or wasn't that you who mentioned her ?

The line up looks alright actually. Airport, Have I Got News For You, Headjam (off of Vernon), Top Gear, Red Dwarf, A Question Of Sport, Two Pints of Larger...

The same old, but alright for Freeview viewers.

Not disappeared as such, but im waiting for hollyoaks at 6.30. Missed that one, its the one after the big hollywood stylee car chase!

Craig and Jean Paul go to the airport. Jean Paul doesn't like it that Craig won't kiss him, so Jean Paul goes home and Craig leaves for Dublin. There it is in a nutshell.

Boo, I was hoping this'd be Gunther or no Gunther.

Or Marcel or Björn or Phillip. I know more people with those names... Or Malte maybe. Well, they're "popular" among young people. But there is a Hans in my class, but he's called "Hans Armin Malte" and wants to be called Malte.

Oh, Jono... If they don't Podcast that Hans or no Hans game, could you do it then? Somehow, I just thought you might be able to ...

Yeah I'll sort it later tonight :)

I might try and find a Dave who'll change their name to UKTV G2

Love this Biffy Clyro track, but as Colin Murray says, the album version is much better.

Milburn's track is rather good too. Anyway, I need to shower and sort myself out before work.

Good show again this afternoon...

In fact, why don't we just ban them from everywhere?!

You'll soon be wanting us back when you realise that toilet rolls don't change themselves.

I literally laughed out loud when I read that- how true! ha ha. If not women then Mums or partners who will do as women do...

Poor Laura I've been ill with what sounds like the same vius this week. Every day when I phone in to work they sound more annoyed but it's really horrible :(

Anyway, I need to shower and sort myself out before work.

Innuendo bingo, I think?

UM is a nice place

    • https://youtu.be/A_Cycjg5_9A?si=NiLTFeiTNWBExFoR   As barmy as Sam Ryder has now gone, as shown in this video. I'd still rather it than that bland Olly Alexander record.
    • I like Scott, and I listen to Rylan's show every week... they do sound great together on Eurovision etc but.. as for a daily show together, I don't think it would work. Rylan would probably have to reign it in a bit which would lose his appeal, otherwise it may become too chaotic, in my opinion. That Saturday slot is perfect for Rylan, his rapport with Sally Traffic and Lottie is great. I suppose it comes down to cost as well and if he would want a daily show?   Radio 2 are clearly happy with Scott's show, and considering he's just won Best Entertainment Show at the ARIA's, I can't see them changing much.
    • A win for Scott which is fantastic after the last few years he's been through!
    • Am I outnumbered for not wanting to work in radio? It feels like there's a lot of geeks that want a job in the industry here.
    • Thought Sam and Danni were robbed of an award.
    • OJ Borg is in for Trevor Nelson on the Rhythm Nation tonight (with Phill Williams on overnight). He's also in for Michael Ball for the next two Sundays (12th and 19th May). Ros Atkins (BBC's Analysis editior) is in for Jeremy Vine on Thursday. Another new name to Radio 2 is Oliver Hides from BBC Radio Wales. He sat in for Owain Wynn Evans yesterday and he's in again this Thursday (9th May) and Bank Holiday Monday (27th) Spoony in for Scott Mills from Tuesday 28th till Friday 31st May.
    • Thought they would make it easier to get to this event. There's been no communication from the council or organisers about travel, even though there's talk of train strikes. Smaller councils have done a better job.
    • They do sound good together, but I'm not sure Rylan will want the extra commitments.
    • I have accepted Chris is unlikely to join Scott's show, and that Chappers has moved on, but I still think he could do with a co-host. The most logical solution, I think, is Rylan. He appears more often on his show than not, and they are great together. Radio 2 could lose Rylan's Saturday show and extend his reach by appearing during the week. I think they'd be great!
    • Tattoo took a while to grow on me. I couldn't see the fuss until weeks after. We have a split household here where the war on Gaza is overshadowing an enjoyment. I'm hoping for a protest of some sort.
    • I've heard that the staging is very impressive.  That and him being "known" might prevent an embarrassing result.  I'm a terrible judge of Eurovision though as Tattoo is still so very meh to me.
    • Feels like after the success of Sam Ryder we are going back to our old ways. Olly Alexander's song is pretty weak. Anyone fancy our chances this year?
    • The more time goes on the more you think if they'd actually put some thought into it it should've been Vick & Katie from the start. A proven pairing and Katie ended up on the show anyway - whereas Katie's even mentioned she was only asked to join after the Jamie announcement And even by Going Home standards on time off, it's quite funny that a few months in we still haven't had a full week of the supposed line-up - and that's with a 4-day week.
