The girl who lost her boyfriend's family dog

A caller called Scott this afternoon to inform him she'd lost her boyfriend's family dog, after she moved to Coventry to stay with the family she never met. She took it for a walk, and lost him in the woods. Scott thought the show had gone terribly local radio

Interesting, what's the first thing you do when you loose the in-law's pet? Phone Radio 1 of course..

My parents did it with my goldfish- I never noticed!

Bit of a difference between a goldfish and a dog....if you got a new dog, it wouldnt answer to its name, wouldnt act the same as the old dog with the famly members, it would be blatantly obvious.....maybe small pets it could work, they dont really respond to owners :P

Haha you can't just go out and buy a dog straight away! It takes time.

How does it? The Queen dies they soon put a new one in her place.

It's like when Princess Diana died the day before my birthday, I brought a cat the next day. She did however ruin my birthday.

You have to request for one straight after it's born, and wait a few weeks for it to grow up before you can take it home.

Unless you want to get a badly bred one that's kept cruely.

I don't know how I know these things.

Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,

Waiting to take you away.

The cat or Princess Di?

Princess Diana. Every one was glued to GMTV the next day. It was like 'yeh, happy birthday, we got you a cat, too busy watching this though'.

But you go to the dog home and nick one?
