Who is that women to the far right?

Oh Mr Scott Mills, Radio Presenter of British Broadcasting Corporation: Radio 1, you look ever so pleased to be there in the kind company of Take That.

Cheer up love, its only happens once a year.

Scott you swine - SMILE. :D Is it me or did he have a sess on the old spray tan ?

Well it seems I made the right decision to go out as having just skimmed through it That would have been 2 hours of my life i'd never get back. who the hell voted for the bilge that is orson over gnarls barkley. It was all very tepid & safe and in the end rather bland. Liam seemed to have swapped voices with joe cocker (quote shamlessy stolen off planet sound but true) and joss stone has gone american oh dear.

Still got buzzcocks to watch hopefully that will better

Have just realised i posted this thread in the wrong section. Naughty me i won't do it again:oops:

It was probably more depressing to have watched this on Valentine's night than actually a normal television night. I thought Orson were quite god though to see live. May be the public were giving the two fingers at Radio 1 for over playing 'Crazy'.

Looking at some of the pictures online, is it just me who thinks Chris Moyles looks really tired and quite old these days. I know he's now turning 33, but he looks very different to when he started the breakfast show.

Thats what getting up early every day does to you, Im up at 5.30am for 3 days a week and 6.30 for the other 2 and I feel alot older than 20, I don't even go clubbing much now as I can't handle staying out late, I feel like an old man.

"Just one more game, I promise"

    • https://youtu.be/A_Cycjg5_9A?si=NiLTFeiTNWBExFoR   As barmy as Sam Ryder has now gone, as shown in this video. I'd still rather it than that bland Olly Alexander record.
    • I like Scott, and I listen to Rylan's show every week... they do sound great together on Eurovision etc but.. as for a daily show together, I don't think it would work. Rylan would probably have to reign it in a bit which would lose his appeal, otherwise it may become too chaotic, in my opinion. That Saturday slot is perfect for Rylan, his rapport with Sally Traffic and Lottie is great. I suppose it comes down to cost as well and if he would want a daily show?   Radio 2 are clearly happy with Scott's show, and considering he's just won Best Entertainment Show at the ARIA's, I can't see them changing much.
    • A win for Scott which is fantastic after the last few years he's been through!
    • Am I outnumbered for not wanting to work in radio? It feels like there's a lot of geeks that want a job in the industry here.
    • Thought Sam and Danni were robbed of an award.
    • OJ Borg is in for Trevor Nelson on the Rhythm Nation tonight (with Phill Williams on overnight). He's also in for Michael Ball for the next two Sundays (12th and 19th May). Ros Atkins (BBC's Analysis editior) is in for Jeremy Vine on Thursday. Another new name to Radio 2 is Oliver Hides from BBC Radio Wales. He sat in for Owain Wynn Evans yesterday and he's in again this Thursday (9th May) and Bank Holiday Monday (27th) Spoony in for Scott Mills from Tuesday 28th till Friday 31st May.
    • Thought they would make it easier to get to this event. There's been no communication from the council or organisers about travel, even though there's talk of train strikes. Smaller councils have done a better job.
    • They do sound good together, but I'm not sure Rylan will want the extra commitments.
    • I have accepted Chris is unlikely to join Scott's show, and that Chappers has moved on, but I still think he could do with a co-host. The most logical solution, I think, is Rylan. He appears more often on his show than not, and they are great together. Radio 2 could lose Rylan's Saturday show and extend his reach by appearing during the week. I think they'd be great!
    • Tattoo took a while to grow on me. I couldn't see the fuss until weeks after. We have a split household here where the war on Gaza is overshadowing an enjoyment. I'm hoping for a protest of some sort.
    • I've heard that the staging is very impressive.  That and him being "known" might prevent an embarrassing result.  I'm a terrible judge of Eurovision though as Tattoo is still so very meh to me.
    • Feels like after the success of Sam Ryder we are going back to our old ways. Olly Alexander's song is pretty weak. Anyone fancy our chances this year?
    • The more time goes on the more you think if they'd actually put some thought into it it should've been Vick & Katie from the start. A proven pairing and Katie ended up on the show anyway - whereas Katie's even mentioned she was only asked to join after the Jamie announcement And even by Going Home standards on time off, it's quite funny that a few months in we still haven't had a full week of the supposed line-up - and that's with a 4-day week.
