Chris Moyles is OUT, need a shoulder Lucinda?

NOOOO!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! :cry::cry:

Well that concludes my TV watching for this year, I think. I'm so disappointed. But he did great, and he deserved to win. Poor Chris, he was the best for entertainment by far. I won't be watching tomorrow night, cos the other two just aren't interesting.

I have to go to bed now cos I'm back in school, night guys xx

Lucy Benjamin is a f*cker, im sorry but she was shitting herself at the start and she should have f*cking walked!! Chris Moyles definately was the best singer by far and he was the strongest personality! You cant even imagine how gutted i am!

I feel your disappointment, I can't believe it  he was sooo good and the other two just don't add anything in entertainment value. So gutted as well. Ruined my evening... but I guess it leaves tomorrow night free to do other things. He was robbed!

As I've said - Bless Chris, he's gutted. As are we. Without Moyles I wouldn't have watched this show, but it's got me away from Big Brother, and I think it's united us on here and Moyles World. He's plugged the book, the show, and raised some money for charity, and he'll have increased his ratings and X Factor's. There is some good to come from it all. And we don't have to sit through one more performance from Lucy Benjamin. Excellent.

Create a random topic Serin. We need some more topics.

Loving Christopher Parker's bitch fight with Sarah Cawood on Xtra Factor. Christopher Parker on Moyles' side saying he finds Matt quite boring.

So is he going to be on it tonight? I wasn't planning on watching... the only reason I sat through Lucy and Matt's performances was to see Chris, because they were so f***ing boring. I really don't care who wins now. People keep asking me if the rugby guy is still in it, cos they like him, but the competition is pointless now without Chris. Still really gutted

    • https://youtu.be/A_Cycjg5_9A?si=NiLTFeiTNWBExFoR   As barmy as Sam Ryder has now gone, as shown in this video. I'd still rather it than that bland Olly Alexander record.
    • I like Scott, and I listen to Rylan's show every week... they do sound great together on Eurovision etc but.. as for a daily show together, I don't think it would work. Rylan would probably have to reign it in a bit which would lose his appeal, otherwise it may become too chaotic, in my opinion. That Saturday slot is perfect for Rylan, his rapport with Sally Traffic and Lottie is great. I suppose it comes down to cost as well and if he would want a daily show?   Radio 2 are clearly happy with Scott's show, and considering he's just won Best Entertainment Show at the ARIA's, I can't see them changing much.
    • A win for Scott which is fantastic after the last few years he's been through!
    • Am I outnumbered for not wanting to work in radio? It feels like there's a lot of geeks that want a job in the industry here.
    • Thought Sam and Danni were robbed of an award.
    • OJ Borg is in for Trevor Nelson on the Rhythm Nation tonight (with Phill Williams on overnight). He's also in for Michael Ball for the next two Sundays (12th and 19th May). Ros Atkins (BBC's Analysis editior) is in for Jeremy Vine on Thursday. Another new name to Radio 2 is Oliver Hides from BBC Radio Wales. He sat in for Owain Wynn Evans yesterday and he's in again this Thursday (9th May) and Bank Holiday Monday (27th) Spoony in for Scott Mills from Tuesday 28th till Friday 31st May.
    • Thought they would make it easier to get to this event. There's been no communication from the council or organisers about travel, even though there's talk of train strikes. Smaller councils have done a better job.
    • They do sound good together, but I'm not sure Rylan will want the extra commitments.
    • I have accepted Chris is unlikely to join Scott's show, and that Chappers has moved on, but I still think he could do with a co-host. The most logical solution, I think, is Rylan. He appears more often on his show than not, and they are great together. Radio 2 could lose Rylan's Saturday show and extend his reach by appearing during the week. I think they'd be great!
    • Tattoo took a while to grow on me. I couldn't see the fuss until weeks after. We have a split household here where the war on Gaza is overshadowing an enjoyment. I'm hoping for a protest of some sort.
    • I've heard that the staging is very impressive.  That and him being "known" might prevent an embarrassing result.  I'm a terrible judge of Eurovision though as Tattoo is still so very meh to me.
    • Feels like after the success of Sam Ryder we are going back to our old ways. Olly Alexander's song is pretty weak. Anyone fancy our chances this year?
    • The more time goes on the more you think if they'd actually put some thought into it it should've been Vick & Katie from the start. A proven pairing and Katie ended up on the show anyway - whereas Katie's even mentioned she was only asked to join after the Jamie announcement And even by Going Home standards on time off, it's quite funny that a few months in we still haven't had a full week of the supposed line-up - and that's with a 4-day week.
