Sara’s programme has become the Sara Cox Breakfast Show. It mentions Kids In The Car and hints that Totally Teavoted might become On Board For Breakfast

Vernon’s only off for a few days of that week so I feel like Mark would’ve at least been on drivetime for the first half of it if he was around, before switching to Vernon (a bit like this week). I get the feeling they’re short on people that week…

BBC Radio 1 Dance 29th June-3rd July Connor Coates in for Matty Chiabi (I've noticed so far that Connor tends to do the first week of each month in the 12pm slot, we'll see if that continues in August) 

Mega shift that day then! 😆.  No doubt Vernon's cover will change before then (no Mark Goodier on drivetime that week so more than likely him)

Schedules are now showing Gary Davies on breakfast and in for Vernon on both 2nd and 3rd July

There are a lot of people caught up in Scott's sacking that shouldn't unfairly lose their position. Sara will be working with team from the original breakfast show as well as some of her own crew from afternoons, and rightly so. 

I think at this stage, thanks to all of todays announcements and Kirsten O’Brien’s move to R2, that it’s fair to assume that OJ will take over drivetime, and Richie will be taking overnights.  I think the delayed announcement will be due to the logistics and contracts around moving drivetime to Salford and the impact that will have on production teams and facilities. We’ve seen this before when it took R1 so long to announce Sam & Danni as the weekend afternoon hosts. That was due to the impact of moving production of weekend breakfast from Cardiff to Salford. 

The new breakfast show team has been confirmed as Sara Cox, Ellie Brennan and Matt Carter as the new newsreader. 

Nothing against Ellie but would’ve thought they’d want a fresh new team but there we go
