Setting my alarm for 6.30! Really excited to hear the first show - I imagine for Scott it's been years in the planning! 

Going Home is with Vick, Sam and Danni today.

It won't be the first week of new shows. Pretty sure I read that Trevor Nelson has specifically said now about starting 'late Jan' which ties in with several comments about w/c 27 Jan being the launch week. After panto, Scott will need a break and prep time, in order to then have a decent run of the new show before any breaks.

Seems it just going to be Anthems again. I said it before and I'll say it again. It is such a waste of talent, and simply is boring. Really wish they'd do normal shows.

Christmas week is slowly starting to update. Ellie Brennan is listed on overnight, Gaby Roslin on breakfast, Gary Davies on mid morning and Spoony on mid afternoon. 
 

Connor Coates is in for Charlie Hedges on Saturday 30th November.

That is indeed the case with Joel Mitchell doing Early Breakfast W/C 9th December.

Spoony in for Scott tomorrow. He's covering 'at least' two weeks from Monday 9th November. 

Vicky is covering early breakfast the week commencing the 25th November. I guess they’re using all the Salford presenters so we might see Nat the week after.

I completely agree - they also have such a strong B Team now (and SO MANY presenters that don’t get much of a chance with double header shows etc) that it would be nice to see them at Christmas. 
 
You could very easily see a Christmas week schedule of:
5am - James Cusack
7am - Sam and Danni
10:30am - Nat and Vicky
1pm - Ore
3:30pm - Lauren
And that’s with every single normal presenter being off!

I missed the days where it was 'normal' personality led shows (even if it was different music, but it was without the pre mixed 'blocks') and the 'B' team such as Adele Roberts Matt Edmondson, Dev etc. stepped up (with Scott & Chris on Breakfast).

Sam & Danni on brekky 25th Dec, 7-11?
Charlie Hedges NYE show 10pm-1am.
Sam & Danni on brekky 2nd & 3rd Jan.  Poss 4 hr shows again.

Now that we have Radio 1 Anthems as a station it would seem a bit redundant to have two radio stations doing non stop anthems for a week. Maybe that'll give them incentive to do something different on Radio 1 that week for once?
