Pete Allison is in for Shanequa on Sunday 15th March. Calum Leslie is in for Shanequa on Sunday 22nd March. -
Probably won’t be a dance show on the Monday night. Maybe a chillest show although probably not with Sian if she’s on in the morning. Or BBC Introducing. -
I would imagine they would still air power down playlist from 10pm-11pm & put someone like Martha or Charlie Tee on from 8pm-10pm -
6th April (Specialist Show Day) 5am-7pm: Radio 1 Pop Anthems With Dean McCullough 7am-10:30am: Future Sounds with Jack Saunders 10:30am-1pm: Future Artists with Sian Eleri 1pm-3:30pm: Indie Show with Alyx Holcombe 3:30pm-6pm: Dance Party With Danny Howard 6pm-8pm: Benji B 8pm-9pm: Power Down Playlist 9pm-11pm: TBC Saturday and Sunday schedules are coming up normal so far but likely to change I think. -
Dean is doing breakfast it should be a whole day of Charlie, Danny, Pete, Sarah, Arielle not necessarily in that order And 8pm onwards have guest presenters -

@Bluestraw I wonder if they might push the 80s forward though and introduce a 00s show? Can have a ‘decades’ night? Although that might overlap with R1’s noughties show -

@Darren m Nope the 60s show won't be getting more prominence than it has, that wouldn't fit the station's plans. -
@Darren m Sounds Of The 60's does well in the slot it does now (and drives a lot of listeners to Sounds for those not up that early). It'll probably be either Shaun Keaveny just given the slot full time, or one of the comedians who have popped up as cover (Josh Widdicome, Ellie Taylor, Joel Dommett) -

So as discussed in the chat box.. it appears she has actually left Radio 2. I'm sure Shaun said last week or the week before that she would be back, so seems rather sudden. Will be interesting to see who replaces her, if they go for a show with a similar presenting style/vibe and eclectic music collection. Shaun Keaveny getting that slot full time would be a good choice. Josh Widdicombe would be another possible candidate.

Yeah, seems rather sudden (even though she's been off for a while). Either Shaun Keaveny getting that show full time or Josh Widdicome gets a show as he's been vocal about wanting a regular Radio 2 gig
