Finally, something worth watching on ITV1.

I don't know how you guys feel about wildlife, whether here in the UK or globally, but conservation is something quite important to me. I'm glad ITV1 are actually showing something worthwhile and informative like this, instead of banal brainless mulch like I'm a Celebrity...

I think ITV ought to be ashamed they're only awarding £500,000 to the winning animal and dividing the remainder amongst the others when we all know they've probably made five times that amount in revenue from advertising and phone calls, but ho hum.

However, I sincerely hope they do this again as it raises awareness for the plight of animals worldwide and gets people involved with conservation; a bigger budget would be preferable next time though.

Those that didn't 'win' receive a share of the remaining £500,000, which equates to around £70,000 each. Not enough.
