exactly what i was saying, it's just a lot of the moyles fans won't see it as joking and will give him so much shit on his first few days on the text, twitter and Facebook like they already have been! i actually think the changes are good, it's good to refresh the station, as upset as I was about scott moving, it has dare i say it... IMPROVED HIS SHOW... he now gets an uninterrupted 3 hour show and with chris stark full time it's just so much better, he has regular features, so it's been a good thing, even if it means having to listen to the podcast more now.

yes, i didn't deny that they got on well and as i said it was said in a tongue and cheek way but moyles did regularly say that grimmy was going to be crap which actively encouraged his moyles fans to behave like dicks to grimmy...

oh and another quick thing, Moyles has been a real dick to grimmy, yes i like moyles before you ask. he would probably say it was tongue and cheek but tbh most of his listeners won't take it that way and already aren't, i'm sorry but even if you don't like the decisions that are being made you shouldn't abuse the person who has no say whatsoever in the decision...

Finally some people seeing sense, VIV... please be quiet. Yes Moyles was this and that and lots of other stuff *blah* *blah* *blah* but let's be honest his show got boring and his listeners were too old for the station, finally Grimmy comes in and is going to genuinely play GOOD MUSIC, as well as fun chat etc... i'm going to give him a really good chance, plus why are you all complaining about music, scott plays music all the time.... and this is a SCOTT MILLS FORUM. anyway rant over, good to get that off my chest.

It's interesting reading this 4 years later, in my opinion and especially at the moment, the demand is definitely there for a live video-stream of in studio access not just for special occasions. I think what should happen as it is popular with youth and will broaden listeners is to have radio 1 on BBC three live streamed from 4am till 7pm when the day-time shows are on and to try and play as many music videos for songs as possible just like on the official chart... Views?

I don't think that's true, matt has been doing a few fill-ins for grimy lately so could mean a more permanent show, I would like deacon, i enjoyed his show, however it might be inconvenient for him as he does comedy. Is Adam any good?

I don't know, danny is quite good in that slot, he's bland which suits greg's show and relies heavily on text and music (greg) it's a featureless show, I like danny and so think he's a good replacement!

I genuinely think that his replacement will be Matt Edmondson, he's being doing several fill-ins and is quite a popular choice as well as having the bonus of being a T4 presenter, I also personally quite like him. As for Huw, Not a fan of his, he is definitely suited to zane or his own show, he is a music specialist not a daytime person!

I think like the country house thing they should do one week a year when ALL the regular DJ's do a show from a boat at sea just like they used to do on pirate radio stations, they could easily have loads of activities along with it and even the occasional visitor, it would be amazing!!

NO that sucks will have finished exams and will be sat in the garden wanting to listen to Greg not Dev...
