Does anyone have the audio from when the new jingles were descussed on Moyles's show?

Surely it should have been Chris and Scott onstage at the start? The two flagship presenters. But the Arctic Monkeys sound great live

I used to be interested in politics and really wanted the Lib Dems to get in, then I realized people only ever go into politics for their own personal gain. It's great that they've killed Bin Laden but we will never get rid of terrorism so we should be putting more money into finding the people 'on the ground' rather than the guys at the top

Trust them to bin off Trevor Nelson! They're quite happy to bombard us with jingles about how we should all be listening to 1Xtra (which I do on a regular basis by the way), truth is they're doing nothing to destinguish the two stations meaning that R1 listeners have no reason to make the switch. Can't wait for the announcment though

Is there a reason for this? He must have something to sell. Should be good for the ratings though

I feel sorry for the stupid woman who was standing in the way while they were trying to kill him. They didn't even ask her to move apparently. That has to top the list of reasons for dying though

I don't understand why its not always on the red button, or at least streaming online. Streaming webcams aren't expensive and it doesn't cost anything to take Radio 1's output and sync it with webcam output. Can't wait for this though

What? Tom Deacon gets more air time than Moyles? Maybe I'm being a bit bias as I don't like him much. Plus, you'd think they'd get some of the 1Xtra Takeover people on

I thought he'd had this one for a while? I really like it. Some will probably complain that its too loud but I think that is a good thing. It could lead into songs a bit better though - I'd have put 4 dry drum beats at the end which could then be edited to be in time with the opening songs

You'd think they'd have sent Trevor Nelson out there, he does things on his 1Xtra show like Real Talk and has a show on Radio 2 - surely he's more appropriate? The last thing those troops need with them is someone shouting 'Drop the bomb baby!'

11million listeners to entertain and that's the best they can come up with? I hope Moyles had the idea, it will be very disappointing if it turns out Aled thinks that song is funny and worth putting on air. There's only so much you can get away with calling 'so bad its good'.

The listeners are more important than the features because the features are only there to please the listeners, something which can't happen if the listeners aren't willing to engage. Look at some of Comedy Dave's 'genius' inventions, I mean Mysterious Dog? COME ON! But it worked because the listeners like Dave and are therefore open to the idea of enjoying trying to guess the breed of a barking dog. It's vital for Adam to establish a connection before putting out ideas.

Surely that's a good thing, it would introduce people to DJs and stations they never would have thought about listening to before

What do you think of Scott's first show back after Easter? Obviously I realize that as I write this on 24/4 the show hasn't happened yet but there's a good chance that it will have done as you read this. I usually find that the first shows back are generic - like they've pulled a script out of a box marked 'Reserves' in which are a load of ideas they didn't use at the time, resulting in shows about Susan Boyle and the like. In all fairness I'd do the same thing in their position, it will just be interesting to see if any of you agree with me, or even if the show I'm using as an example was a one off and I've misjudged the team. Anyway, if you have any opinions (and usually everyone always does whether we want to hear them or not...Peter Andre comes to mind) this is the place to vent them.
