  1. Hmm not such a 'shock appearance' if it's widely known and reported really, is it? Unless I've read it wrong and he'll be in an electric chair or somethin... maybe that's what they SHOULD have had in the Diary Room... *ponders*
  2. Indeed. The Meerkat one, I have been known to rewind and watch again... esp first time I saw the latest one about the trouble his ancestors went through etc. "RUSSIA!?"
  3. Surely the worst offender is the Go Compare Opera Singer with the 'comedy' tache. I have a reflex where I grab the remote and mute every time it comes on.
  4. Nah, they're not. It's going to remain free. This is just a slightly new variant on those emails that used to go around about Hotmail starting to charge, how many times have we had those and it never happened (UNLESS you receive your hotmail emails through Outlook, I think)? Just another scam like those things that claim to tell you who's stalking you on Facebook Notice the 2 main wall posts are ads for Dell laptops, more scams. This was on one of my friend's FB: Who is watching your profile ? ( BETA v1.2.8 WORKS ) ------------------------------------------------------ ProfileSpy v1.2.8 BETA - WORKS 100% Join before Facebook blocks it 1. ► CLICK on "Invite People to Join" 2. ► SELECT all of your FRIENDS 3... with the following comments: 1:does it really work?, like u cn actually see whoz been checkin out yo profile? mate's response: No, of course not. It's just a ploy to get thousands to mindlessly add friends to that group, and (if it exists) get people to install an insecure, phoney application. No, it does not work - it agains Facebook's terms and conditions too. the amount of gulliblefail is staggering...
  5. I'm not, I mean he did bring us Sean Kingston after all...
  6. Indeed, what would age have to do with it anyways? Hmm yeah they obviously thought that one through so hard, offering tickets to someone who doesn't like the band... +1 for sense shown by someone in the industry at least...
  7. Don't some say you once had a vicious knife fight with Anthea Turner, and also that you're illegal in 17 US States?
  8. Well I did say quick m'dear... gags aside, yeah Chippy that is what it is.
  9. Much as I'm not a fan of the Brand, and rarely if ever defend him, I do think that incident got a massive overreaction. At least he did what he did publicly and intended it as a joke (admittedly not really a funny one) with no genuine malice. Sachs even appealed at first that no-one make a big deal of it, and if he wasn't that bothered, why should anyone else be? He asked for people to text in feedback, to me it seems it was him asking for it in the first place, probably going looking to pick a fight for all we know...
  10. 'Doomsday Clock' moves a minute back http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8460324.stm Of course the real question is, what are we going to do with the extra minute of existence? My vote goes to 'Have a quick wa.... rming cup of tea?' yeah, that's totally what I was going to say originally, no hesitation here, stop looking at me like that...
  11. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8461267.stm now he says 'sorry', don't believe it's a genuine apology in any way whatsoever. I mean doesn't this guy have little kiddies as his fans? What message does that give to them?
  12. Surely he should be arrested, charges of harassment (leaving somebody multiple abusive voicemails and texts, saying it would only end if they apologised etc) and also breaching the Data Protection Act (stealing a phone number from R1 computers, that counts big time). Just proves what a monumental d*** he is to me, so much for being part of an anti-bullying campaign eh? In the end he ASKED for what people thought, if he couldn't take the criticism he shouldn't have bothered. Maybe now EVERYBODY should text in similar comments IF he's ever allowed on air again (which if you ask me, he shouldn't be) Sadly I fear if his 'music' (I use the word loosely) was banned from Radio1, it would give more ammo to record companies who bitch about piracy too in a roundabout way (even though they make record profits year-on-year in most cases thanks to stuff like XFactor)....
  13. cant get in touch with the booking hotline and they wont let me make an appointment AT the office itself here, go figure. Besides it's kinda not the priority thing I'm worried about... I guess I just think some things through too much and end up massively overanalysing...
  14. Guess this is one week I definitely won't be listening then...
  15. Shame if she has, there was only really her and Jo Whiley that I liked outta the female DJs on there.
  16. Haven't you even got the swingometer out to show the results?
  17. Don't care, this would be voting for the better of a bad bunch... I won't be watching but I probably will have to endure hearing about it every 5 minutes on BBC TV and Radio...
  18. Attention brutal and massacring alien overlords of the future.... *points over that-aways somewhere* It was them, they did it, honestguv, had nowt to do with me.
  19. our 'infinitely wise' (local) government are trying to rob me now, having lied to me on many occasions while I've skipped between temporary jobs over the past month or so... now they claim they made payments that they didn't, and further that they overpaid me. They did nothing of the sort and now they want money back that I never had in the first place, I prove this with bank statements and they don't listen... how the hell do you deal with idiots who are convinced they are never wrong, even when you can prove otherwise? After this crap I better get at least a tax rebate seeing as I only had short, low-paying jobs and this stupid country overtaxes anyway, even more so now we had to bail out idiot bankers who are now getting bonuses despite their mistakes... I'd like a few grand of bonus every time I make a stupid mistake...
  20. Nothing too wrong with Beccy, but still more of a Laura fan meself.
  21. Chuff. Good title though, as one shot is all I need to rid the world of these idiots forever
  22. I think she's already reached that kind of level with You Got The Love, and there's definately more to come from her. I find it hard to rate much of anything Madonna did highly, (OK maybe Vogue and Like A Virgin... at a stretch) especially more recent stuff. I think she is a current (for past year plus since I first heard her) celebrity crush for me too, amazing combination of great voice, flair, personality, great look etc, seemed a little nervous on Glasto coverage (a show which I think was also on her birthday) but I just find that cute.

  24. Nooooo not Florence... if we were talking about some pop strumpet (Miley Cyprus or whatever her name is) or other bint who's trying to be half her age (Madge) then I'd agree. If there's any music artists that are full of themselves, it's the two I've mentioned among others.
  25. I guess. I don't even watch the channel anymore apart from maybe the odd movie here and there but otherwise for me it's BBC and 4 mostly outta the main 5.
