  1. Is that Dev as in Dev off of 'I'm Dev I'm usually on in the mornings'.
  2. I've bought a £30 DAB radio about 4 years ago and it's always worked fine. Much clearer than analogue and you can get the extra stations (although I don't really listen to them). I don't think Radio 1 should go digital only though because loads of people listen in their car or on their phones, only when cars and phones have digital radios inbuilt should it go digital only (that would be the end of analogue anyway - it'll happen soon)
  3. Labour have been in power since 1997.
  4. He did it I think! According to his twitter he 'welled up several times'. Softy.
  5. That's kind of what I thought. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/No-Justin-Bieber-you-dont-love-her-youre-12/235569257282?ref=ts
  6. This is completely embarrasing for SNP and Plaid. Don't get me wrong I've got alot of time for these parties and I'd probably vote for them if I lived in Scotland or Wales BUT these are Prime Ministerial Debates. Elfyn Llwyd or Alex Salmond cannot become Prime Minister. They've had debates in Scotland and Wales with the main parties there so I don't see what they are complaining about. Someone from the SNP was complaining that Scotland wasn't mentioned in the last debate - well surely that's to their advantage because it means the Scots are more likely to vote SNP.
  7. Anyone who is going to vote BNP should listen to this http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...an_23_04_2010/ 1:43 in, interview with the BNP spokesman. They're going to give grants for people to 'go home' but they don't know how much it costs, they are going to raise the inheritance tax threshold to £1million but don't know even know what it is at the moment and he didn't even know when the election was...or what a Freudian slip was. The BNP have no idea about politics if it's not about immigration. As slimy, dishonest, corrup etc. as the major parties are, I know who I'd rather have in charge, even if I was a racist.
  8. I don't think it would make a difference. There's so much pressure on radio one to get viewing figures that they need to put low risk people on like Huw and Nick Grimshaw (not saying that's a bad thing, just their style).
  9. I'd imagine he'd definitely keep the Friday night one and Fighting Talk on Saturday Morning. It would make sense for him to keep presenting the Sunday one 12-6 as he'll get to watch all the games (it's not like he's a pundit who'll have to prepare VT's he'll just need to have his script) especially given that out of 6 hours, about 3 and a half will be commentary.
  10. Just listening to Colin on 5live, they're doing to good to bad!
  11. I'm not a big fan of Jo Whiley but all that clip says is that she was fed up of having to sleep in a tour bus and gets stressed out quite easily. I think most people doing her job would though, I'm not saying she's not rude but I think that vid is a bit of an exaggeration.
  12. lol I'm sure teachers aren't supposed to be telling you who they vote for:D It is a really exciting election because it's so close and the TV debates have just added an extra spice and dimension. I think there are good arguments for and agains having them but I'm sure they'll increase turnout which overall is a good thing. Also because you said it's a maths lesson just thought I'd point out the election is on May 6th;) As for the debate I thought Brown did well in the first half but completely fell apart when he realised his attack on the tories not giving pensioners free eye tests was unfounded - small things make a big difference. The liberals lack of policy is quite worrying. Thought Cameron did quite well, but overall no clear winner. Labour again said Cameron is failling on style which is a bit embarrassing given that in the polls he's overtaken Brown and if that's not through style then it must be through substance.
  13. They keep going on about how he'll front ITV's football coverage and I'm sure he'll do a good job, but does that mean the end for Steve Rider?
  14. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/8638265.stm Nice article on Colin here
  15. That's quite a negative way of putting it. Chappers took a change in career and has obviously done pretty well. So well that when an oppurtunity comes up to go to the World Cup he got the chance to go. You make your own luck
  16. I think Chappers is definitely wasted on sport, Colin also but to a lesser extent. Colin is definitely a better presenter (although Chappers does alright on Late Kick off). When does his contract with the bbc finish?
  17. Dear Scott I'm not at school Hope this helps Love yb <3
  18. Listening to today's show on iplayers, wouldn't say I'm bored by Chris being in NY, it doesn't really make much difference apart from him going on about where he is, but you have to repeat yourself if your on at that time as people are tuning in all the time.
  19. I guess he's doing this for the football. He wouldn't get to do much in the WC with the bbc whilst it looks like he's going to front ITV's coverage, not bad given they have equal WC rights with BBC, FA Cup and Champions League. As for GMTV no-one watches it, he could just be doing it for the challenge.
  20. First time I've got to hear Scott Mills live on breakfast this year!!! Sounds great, though hope Chris is back tommorow and Scott back in the afternoons.
  21. I like him too, not really interested in boxing but he's a real character.
  22. No there isn't . They don't have cars in Leeds and going by train means you have to travel with the plebs:shock: I wouldn't expect Moyles to lower himself to that level.
  23. Stuff the premiership...go to Griffin Park Brentford and watch proper football:D (or soccer as you put it!) This season there were no midweek fixtures in October except the Monday night ones if that's anything to go by.
