  1. That's a common myth, taken from Wikipedia: I can't say I remember how it tastes as I was quite intoxicated at the time. I think I liked it though!
  2. I don't know if we have any Podcasts on here but if you go to the "Downloads" section of this forum then there should be some recordings from the 3rd June onwards... As for Moyles, no idea. Does anybody know if cm.net would have anything?
  3. Happy Birthday! Enjoy the rest of your day.
  4. Will Fearne show up? Nobody knows....
  5. Well if it turns out as we think it will turn out then thank Harriet Harman. In my opinion she is in a close contest with Tessa Jowell for the most useless MP in British History.
  6. This act doesn't enforce positive discrimination, but actively encourages it. Like yourself DC, I fully support equality between gender, different cultures, different races etc. But I am worried that as a young, ambitious white male, I'll lose out on top positions in a company simply because I am a young, ambitious white male. I'd be very upset if I ever found out I'd lost out on a job to a person of another race just because that person was of another race. Saying that though, if I lost out on that position because that person was more suited to the job than me, then fair enough, I can accept that. This thread reminds me of recent news that annoyed me. Recently Paul Ince was giving the job of Blackburn Rovers manager because he's had a fantastic record in the lower leagues, saving one team from relegation in his first season and then getting another team promoted in his second. Unfortunately, all the media would talk about is that he is the first black, English manager in the Premier League. This infuriated me, we have somebody of very good managerial talent who deserves his new job because of his past managerial achievements. He didn't earn it from the colour of his skin, so shut up about it!
  7. Brilliant! Thanks Geezer! Has anyone managed to get a Wii Fit? I've given up trying to get one now. It's as though they're extinct.
  8. I'd say it's more electronic...
  9. Voila! The song is: Air - Kelly Watch The Stars. Enjoy!
  10. I know what song you mean then. It's about 1:35 - 1:45 into the listen again play list. Don't know the name though. I'll sit here and go through it again and see if Nihal gives us a name. I like that song too, I want it!
  11. Hang on. Is it one of those songs which is really famous but nobody knows what it's called? If that's the case then I may know what song you mean, but I don't have a name for it! This is going to bug me... Was it played in between some French lady?
  12. Kinda Pendulum like.... Would it be Electric Feel by MGMT? (It's a long shot) Give me more details, was it slow? Upbeat? etc... I'm just scanning through the iPlayer.... EDIT: Ok you now have 2 of us... It wouldn't be the Drum & Bass Dad's Army mix would it!!
  13. For a second there I thought you meant that Timbaland had done a remix of Lost! Viva La Vida is still my favourite track on the album, I'd go as far to say that it's my favourite Coldplay track ever. Fasten Your Seatbelts was great at Brixton Academy. I went with a friend who had not even heard of Pendulum before the gig, and had invented a "Fasten Your Seatbelt" dance to go with the song. Good times! I envy you for seeing Editors, Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Lostprophets, Simian Mobile Disco, Travis and The Killers. I want to see them all so much! I've seen Muse, Pendulum, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Zutons, Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Faithless, Jimmy Eat World, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs and Klaxons.
  14. I didn't I missed it, but Viva La Vida has been on repeat since Thursday. I can't believe that I originally said this album sucked! What was I thinking!
  15. I've seen them three times. At Earls Court in December 2004, Reading Festival in August 2006, and the Wembley Stadium gig. All three nights were fantastic, they never fail to amaze me live. I think Coldplay and Pendulum are battling it out for second place. They were both great gigs but so different, I can't choose a second out of the two! Who else have you seen live?
  16. I saw them at Wembley! I went on Saturday the 16th, best gig I've ever been to.
  17. Happy Birthday! Have a good day!
