My best friend gets home tomorrow.

I've properly started the new job hunt, and written my notice. Just the thought of leaving makes me happy.

My family is Polish, as my grandfather was a POW in WWII. We tend to not see each other much because of the distance, cost etc, and the language barrier to a certain degree. Anywho, they're coming over in August. Work won't give me the day off. *angry face*

Thanks guys Jimmy Carr was awesome - he asked me how my day had been and I got a hug for saying "it's my birthday, don't worry I wasn't the c*nt at the back" (there was some bint who kept shouting out that it was her birthday etc etc) and yes it was wonderful and close and muscly and, oh god...

I'm seeing Jimmy Carr tomorrow! Oh, and a boy kept making eyes at me yesterday. And then he winked. Girlish giggles were not contained well.

I'm all trained up to be on the radiooooo.

I try to to write here often, but hearing my great uncle got hit by a car and died over the weekend has really shook me up. He really reminded me of my grandad who we watched get eaten up by Parkinson's when I was young, and this has bought back some really painful memories.

Jimmy Carr this time next week, and hopefully Wicked over summer. Too good.

Back to the seventh level tomorrow, after ten days of not being there. And I'm closing. And I've yet to acquire a present for my dad. :confused:
